On the internet.

I found a great site like a month ago, but like all perfect solutions, it'll die eventually. Either they'll patch the loophole that lets trial accounts watch forever, or they'll get taken down by the nips.

60 channels, in solid quality, with 5 days of on-demand and a TV guide. I don't know if I'm going to be able to move back to trash like sherming after experiencing this level of quality.

What's funny is that it's using the exact same sources as Mokodojo, but in a locked down format where you can't mess with the URLs at all. So not only do you lose half the channels, but you also lose the on-demand, AND you get a forced 30 second delay that doesn't even work as intended. But hey, you get "web 2.0" design and a fucking chat box, so it's somehow acceptable.

Those stolen chink streams are hot garbage anyway, it's impossible to watch more than 5 minutes off-peak without insane levels of stuttering.

Does Mokodojo still work? The video never loads for me, been like that for a while now.

Anyway, AbemaTV only needs a VPN when you log in. You can switch it off and watch it with your full bandwidth once you're on.

You can subscribe to a service like iSakura but they can get pricy. Around 20-30 bucks a month. Most of them are for Android boxes but there's 1 or 2 that have a Windows app for desktop.

Well getting a VPN and watching abema is one of the better options.

But if you want actual TV channels, like fuji tv etc. then there is no good solution. Free streams always tend to have quality issues and get taken down sooner or later. Paid options such as iSakaru have good quality service but its rather expensive. Plus, it feels rather stupid to pay so much for an illegal service...
I really wish japan would offer legal ways to watch their tv channel abroad.

They're talking about a loophole though. A free trial period for everyone isn't. Some sellers offer 24hr free trial for iSakura etc if you ask. I think they're saying that they know how to get unlimited 24hr free trials from these sellers.

What I want to know is, how to watch that shit in VLC or some other desktop application. I can't get the web browser version to work well. The picture is a bit choppy due to frames being dropped, and the stream often pauses to re-buffer. I usually don't have that problem if I watch live streams in VLC. Anyone have any ideas? The problem is that it seems to be broadcast over a UDP protocol and it's encrypted with some MD5 hashing that VLC doesn't understand.

>I can't get the web browser version to work well
This is because too many people spread the site, even the retarded chinks themselves are doing it.

There's no longer enough bandwidth for anyone to watch. What used to be perfectly smooth for me a couple of weeks ago, is now an absolute joke, with freezes, endless buffering, and random skipping around.

Go find somewhere else, fujiTV is dead.

>> No.17027638

All of the free options are either inconsistent and shitty and/or get shut down as soon as you get used to them.

jpplayer.com is paid but has been around for years without being shut down and is good video quality and a lot of extra channels and is as close to live as you can get without being in Japan

Only issue is I am usually too cheap to pay for more than 3 days or a month at a time. I'm going to give the trial another shot and if the quality and reliability is still good I will just splurge on a year.

No, I mean that even if it does stop and buffer a lot, I would still want to have it playing in VLC or whatever. I basically prefer it to the browser flash player.
