I can't beat this.
For some reason, the stage is giving me brutal troubles. I can't get full power until I reach Sanae, and I cant capture her 3rd card. I beat the first boss card once and got to the spinning wheel one but I lose too much resources early on.

I'm too lazy to do extra. Plus, it's hard coded in my brain that whenever I die extra, I instantly hit the escape key and restart the level.

even though I said I give up before starting I went and tried it anyway; despite "cheating" and attempting it like 10 times I never even made it to Koishi. Died to Sanae's 2nd spellcard twice every time, then when I finally captured it I died to her third, then the spam immediately after her, then the big bullet faeries. Fuck SA Extra.

It still pisses me off that I can't figure out how exactly the shots from the faeries after Sanae are aimed. The first set seems somewhat aimed at you, and the later set seems aimed in reference to you somehow (same with the ones early in the stage), but hell if I can figure out how to graze them without dying

it's impossible to get full power before Sanae other than dying immediately. Collecting every item in the first half of the stage puts you at 3.75 power (I have no trouble doing this, but as soon as I hit Sanae's 2nd spellcard, forget it)

I still have problems with Sanae third spell card. You can't just learn that spell card, it is just luck.

It is actually possible, I have a replay where the player reaches 4.00 during the knife spamming fairies. He even has ~0.25 power that got converted into faith or whatever the green items in SA are.

If you're ending up with 3.75, you've missed a greater fairy somewhere. If you manage to kill all the enemies before Sanae, you should have 4.00 power.

I don't see how it's possible, I collect every item nearly every run and wind up with 3.75 at Sanae (occasionally reach her at 3.65 if I fail to kill one of the last set of faeries or miss some items from the first set of ring shooting faeries)

You're probably missing the Fairy that shoots Kunai. That Fairy is hard to reach, especially once the blue fairies start circling.

oh fuck me, it's the aimed kunai spamming fairy immediately after the rings, I'm always grazing it starting from the right side of the screen and so I've never killed it in time. I'm pretty much staring at my hitbox and the bullets the whole time and never even pay attention to the actual fairy and whether it dies or not.

MarisaB. Had a really stupid death on the final spellcard.

Everything but Scarlet Netherworld, Scarlet Shoot, and Red Magic was perfect.

I'm horrible at EoSD.

Forgot how much fun was to play against Remilia. Barely made it, but its cool because haven't played this stage in a long time.

I'm just bad at Touhou in general. I use up all lives+continues without completing stage 4 or 5.

haha oh wow, I captured Scarlet Shoot for the first time ever... I never want to risk dying at that point and I usually have already died to the bullet rain of her 4th nonspell, so I just bomb it.

Could have gotten better score if I had remembered that final lives actually count in practice mode, I would have bombed moar instead of bombing then dying twice on Red Magic.

Gawd scoring on Stage 3 is such a bitch, I hate the faith scoring system and how it requires you to leave enemies alive for a long time in places (pain in the ass with ReimuA), collect items at the right time, etc etc.

Captured all the spellcards though instead of dying to the last fucking card like I always do; somehow I have more trouble with Nitori's lasers than Yuugi's

So, listen up people. In exactly a few minutes I'm going to post the name of a IN spell card. You have about 15 minutes to beat it and post a screen of you in the exact moment you got it (the explosion).

If you don't get it you get 1 strike. After 2 strikes you can't continue. The person that last in the ends wins. Remember sportsmanship is vital in this.

I was selecting randomly. I entered the menu, then just randomly clicked a spellcard.

You can beat Xu Fu by just hugging the bottom, the blue cards wont hit you, you just have to stay between the red ones(which also don't hit you until they move up). Oh and you have stream the slowest stream ever I guess.
