as a politics otaku, this would actually be the best format for votes:
- ChairYama Yabba-dabba-do calls a topic in a new thread, and opens the floor to nominations. Anons nominate a candidate by posting it. Other anons quote the thread to sign on. Ten signatures (Yous) are required for ballot access. Nominations close when the thread is archived
- All candidates with at least ten signatures are put on a strawpoll ballot created by the ChairYama, which is posted in the next thread. The strawpoll is open for voting for three days
- In the case of no candidate getting a majority (50%+1) of votes, the top two choices go to a run-off vote in a strawpoll advertised in the subsequent thread and run under the same rules regarding timing and who creates it
- Any disputes regarding misconduct are resolved in favour of which party to the dispute shitposts the hardest. It is automatically assumed that Russia, the Democratic Party, Ukip, the Gulf Cooperation Council and George Soros are simultaneously funding every vote cast and autist shitposting
