I find that WAVE's remix of it to be abso-fucking-lutely groundbreaking incredible but the original to be not so great.

Personally, I say the best Touhou song is Lunatic Eyes - Invisible Full Moon (just listening to it was what got me into Touhou), but I've listened to that song so goddamn much I'm sick of it.

For a song I'm NOT sick of, I say Flight of the Woodcutter - Lunatic Princess and Walking the Streets of a Former Hell, as Boss theme and Stage theme respectively.

I only really regret two things about the song: the MIDI instrumentation is obviously not the quality of later game compositions, and for whatever reason, the song is half a step off key, which made it very frustrating to learn. :/

Of course, it avoids the overwrought percussion some later ZUN tracks would end up getting.
