I don't think I would ever get a tattoo, but if I did it would be the runes from the Third Leg on my right forearm. I also like the idea of the eye on my chest, but I think that would be too much.

Why is looking at the images themselves not enough? Why must you be able to look at your arm to see a picture of whoever/whatever it is you've permanently stuck there? Next to that it's hard to find a design you will like for the rest of your life. The issue with tattoos and onsen still remains and since I have been to one I wouldn't want to not being able to go to one again easily. Despite how nice that smug Remi looks.
Some tattooed people just seem like they put random things on themself and a lot of tattoos seem to be dumb. They can look edgy by the guy being a tryhard, or retarded like a tramp stamp and so on. Some give off a weird chilling atmosphere like those yak ones. To me it's just not easily understandable why you would alter your body on what appears to be a random whim.

But it would be interesting to hear from OP again many years down the line. Like 40-50 years and see how he feels then about it.

Already have a couple tattoos, but neither are jp related. Although next one I get will probly be the symbol for Strength from BRS.

In general? Yeah, tattoos can be dumb as hell. Especially ones that people get without putting decent thought into beforehand. Without even considering issues that come about from where you get one (horrible execution by people that couldn't draw a stick figure as well as placement on your body), there's the matter of the simple progression of time. Even the best artwork done with the best ink will still fade over the years. And the stigma surrounding a bunch of visible tats doesn't seem to be going away any time soon.

But if you actually put some thought into what you want, do your damn research, put some more thought into it, are sure that its something you want permanently etched into your body, and then do more research and put even more thought into it, go for it.
