Yeah, its a wasteland of eternal threads. Same as /a/,/g/,/vp/, and plenty of other boards i dont browse im sure. The old spontaneous days are never coming back; and moot's first /jp/ sticky seemed to encourage this result to begin with.

The other threads aren't much better either.

You can't enjoy a board when you're so concerned about the meta. You can't be truly happy if you're aware of your happiness.

It's probably because the lot of you are incapable of coming up with non-general threads worth talking about due to a lack of on-topic interests and an obsession with keeping out people who aren't Certified Experts on Everything (TM). The board cycles in one and a hafl days. If your thread dies it's because nobody gave a shit.

I've seen people mourn this board since AoC had a breakdown. It truly amazes me there are people still willing to beat not a dead, nor a decomposing horse, but a pile of ashes that resembles what it once was the same way poop is the same color as chocolate. Everyone has moved on. The tears have been shed, shitposts have been deleted. Moot's completely warped and idiotic policies can't even be blamed for now that he's left. Yukari have mercy on anyone who still can't get over it.

"Even" is misused as a means of emphasis there. You either browse a board, or you don't. "I've never even browsed /v/ out of curiosity" would be a proper way to express 'even' in that sense. Or: "I don't browse /v/ at all," would be a more correct way to express the emphasis you intended.

/qa/ has an essence of some of the fun /jp/ used to have but some of it feels forced and like a distorted shadow in an old mirror
