When I was a kid my family lived in a cheap apartment that got infested by cockroaches every year. You'd go to the kitchen for a midnight snack and turn on the light and there would be a loud rustling as bugs would run and hide. No amount of roach motels was ever enough.

Fuck cockroaches. And fuck Cockroach-tan, too.

Snails are kinda cute, though. Insects, barring butterflies and ladybugs, on the other hand...

Cockroaches are actually pretty harmless and fairly clean as far as insects that eat garbage go. They're just big, freaky looking and make hissing sounds that creep people out.

I don't identify with them or look down on them. I prefer not to kill them, but I can't coexist with some of them. So if a spider or a house centipede infringes on my personal space and pushes me into a corner, it's getting smashed by a hardcover book or a PS2 game case or something.
