Don't really need to set the locale if you're using the English patch. I didn't bother, anyway, and it worked okay. Switching locale might actually break the installer, it tends to sometimes.
Your mileage may vary if you're using Vista.
Oh, and once you're done installing you might consider playing the game.

The epilouge should have been happier, I agree, but nobody can deny that Risa is the perfect waifu. Also, anyone who says Yuuichi is a sociopath in her route is a moron. He is damaged goods, yes, but he has character development and is obviously in love by the end.

Ok, this game did not make me sad, emotional, and I did not relive myself at the hentai scenes. I don't see the big deal and even if I did this game wouldn't be one of those top of the list. I just got done playing Fate/Stay Night and Gore Screaming Show. Gore Screaming Show a game that I had a hard time reading using ATLAS and AGTH had a more compelling story than this game.

Why do you disappoint me with such games like Wanko that aren't even as good?

Argh, yeah, the first half is good, the second half is porn.

Between the Risa and Nadeshiko routes, each have their own redeeming qualities.

In Nadeshiko, you don't get your heart ripped out. You dont have to see Mikan get lost for 6 months. And Mikan has children in the Nadeshiko route, and she promises Yuuichi one of her own child so he won't be lonely (Which in my opinion was REALLY kind).

In Risa, you get your heart ripped out and people change. Silvie becomes mature, and takes care of Mikan during her recooperation. And then thw two doggies don't want children since Yuuichi has Risa.

Risa's path would be better without Mikan dissapearing, that's for sure.
There is a mention about where they did the wedding: where Yuuichi's "mom" lives.
I wish the other characters had a happier epilogue

That walkthrough in OP's post is bogus. Loading from Save 1 and picking Mochizuki doesn't actually take me to the Nadeshiko route.

I was totally surprised at the unique relationship between Risa and Yuuichi. Living together, discussing fetishes and choosing porn together and yet remaining platonic, and even random marriage before any real sex. It's like the exact opposite of the typical Love Hina-esque harem situation with clueless nerd and megapunching tsunderes. That alone made me like this game much more than I expected to.

Of course, the moeness of the animal girls didn't disappoint either. Though it was rather disturbing the way they were treated like animals by their society.

You don't need a walkthrough for this shit. Risa is the default route. You jump onto the Nadeshiko route by interacting with Nadeshiko and Kotakou. Just go to the pet store on your walks and you'll get onto the route.

Also: Picking people's names during the "Who helped the most" question takes you to a scene with that person that night.
