If you look at the fairy tail that Suwako's character was pulled from. Suwako was the FATHER of Sanae's ancestor. She was also in the form of a giant frog at the time.

A childless middle aged woman was praying to the god of Lake Suwa at the edge of the lake one evening and Suwako heard her and hopped out and "slimed" aka jizzed over her.

The child was a demigod and that led to much misfortune and drama for mother and son.
