For me at least I only really look on the front and pretty much skip the back if I got it right/didn't have any troubles. Even if there were multiple styles on the front I doubt I'd read them. So making a hard change works better if other people are similar.

/jp/ has Japanese language learning threads all the damn time and has for awhile. Threads titled "done your reps today anon?" are commonplace. DJT is unambiguously, doubtlessly, 100% on topic for /jp/. This is not up for debate, due to the historical precidence behind this, and because it's pretty fucking obvious that learning Japanese is relevant to /jp/.

Everyone arguing about whether DJT is on topic or not - stop. It is. There's no argument here.

Where the argument IS, is whether DJT *belongs* on /jp/. Focus on that. Points of contention are:
- DJT is a general
- DJT has a lot of posters from /a/, and will thus bring in outsiders to the board.
- Janitors are human beings with personal biases, if they don't like DJT it doesn't matter how the fuck relevant and on topic it is, Jannies rule and will fuck DJT up if they don't want it here.

Focus your debates on those points. Everything else is irrelevant.

I've acknowledged multiple times that /jp/ is full of blogging. However, most of the time, it is unfortunately on-topic blogging, by people with on-topic interests, that I'm forbidden from complaining about.

I've personally told people off for blogging about stupid shit like reps. However, I was satisfied that they would not post about their reps every single fucking day, and in fact those threads were rare occurrences. If I had known that they would one day be used to justify an off-topic shitposting general in /jp/ I would have been much more vocal about it.
