LD took all last night and all morning, but I finally killed her. First time I sparkled all the ships, and the placebo worked. Air battle killed 2 of the escort fleet, shelling support killed two more and a Ne class in the main fleet. Went to yasen with all the escort fleet dead and only Abyssal-Testes and one Wo, which got fucked by Hatsuzuki. Shigure choked, Myokou didn't cut in, but did get a 125 damage single attack somehow, and Hatushimo finished her. I was terrified she would only hit for 40-50 like she did the last few times she cut in, but everything went ok. And despite the S rank, only a fucking Myokou drop.

This was my setup at E-4 transport. Both supports and gave me 89 TP for each S rank so it was quite quick. Even so, you may want to delay it for a bit since S ranking the TP boss has a good chance of dropping Asakaze.

What's the recommended setup for support shelling? I'm running 2 reds/2 radars on BBs/CVs and 1 gun/2 radars on DDs with just the flagship sparkled, but more often than not, it's not very effective at E4 boss node.

I run the same, but with 3 red planes/1 radar on CVLs. I also fully sparkle support fleets. It might just be placebo, but it feels like support is generally more effective.

You need to sparkle the whole fleet if you want decent performance. Even then you'll sometimes get 12 misses/scratches but the average outcome is definitely better.
