Nutaku FKG is run fairly well, so it's probably going to profit for a good while, though the DMM version is considerably better. Nutaku Aigis is hot garbage but games like that can survive indefinitely on a handful of whales, see for example Cosmic Break which has been running for the better part of a decade with an userbase of about 500 between the JP and EN servers.

Comparing CB to EN Aigis is an insult to CB, though.

Don't worry, you were levelling up generics who you would throw away later on anyway. Note the "Regular Soldier" tag on those units. Chatroom says only focus on the Uniques, i.e. those who don't have that tag. Story characters and event girls go in this category.

Ill expand on that a bit. You should keep all units that don't have [EXP] or [Regular soldier]. Those units don't have scenes and unless you are really starved for units at the beginning are meant to be fodder for exp and silver.

+ unique units are very valuable. They are like foil cards in trading games, rare and come with boosted stats comparable to up to 2 more ranks. You'll primarily get them from events (make sure the snatch [Jack O'Lantern] Lilium R+ and Francette R+ easily from the events.

Silver recruit has a very small chance of giving you SR+ units,at this moment the ones that you get from the story campaign itself.
The platinum tickets can give you unique SSR+ units that are even more valuable but good luck with that. Not only they are more valuable for being limited to that gacha, + units from there can sacrifice themselves to attach that bonus to another girl of your choosing.

TLDR: + unique units are endgame and should be the ones you truly invest on, as in using the rest to rank up them and dump gifts and best equipment to. Even if any unit can reach UR rank the difference is huge.

Magic stones are the equivalent of rainbow crystals in Aigis, you get them by discarding premium units or SR+ silver recruit units to purchase things in the shop.

What's the point of [regular] units in BGR other than being a "fuck you" result in gacha? You can't even use them as rank-up fodder. Should I sell them on the spot? And while I'm talking about rank up option, will it ever become any easier to perform? From what I see, I need 4x R uniques for an R to SR conversion, not to mention further requirements for SSR. Looks grindy as fuck.

I checked the auto exchange and auto sell and I'm a much popular and handsome guy now. You might want to save the exp units to exchange them in same-kingdom full batches for the extra exp though.

The grind is real, but you get tons of uniques on the silver gacha and raising their levels is not so bad, in fact you should use that stored exp for that to grab the hefty daily silver rewards.

Finally done with earl-game stamina grind in BGR and starting to optimize my set-up. For equipment, is there any value in keeping any N or R pieces? Or should I just convert everything to level-up my best SR/SRR?

I haven't bothered keeping the R or N equipment myself, I just use them as fodder. I prefer having a few pieces of maxed capped-up items for a neat storage. I just hope I don't regret having only one or two girls fully equipped and the rest "naked" by next event.

you can also get Francette R+ from her event. This event is pretty rough, and so its the next marathon a month or so from now. You get to earn 300rep for each 30 AP run for 72k. Much less runs but it only ran for a week so store your pots. Later it gets better, with many +units available through events and then there's also the revivals, so a chance to attach + to other units in the future as well.

To elaborate more on this, chemist are a class that reduce enemy def, and the calculation is made based on the enemy not the user, so there aren't stats involved depending on the unit, you can use one without CC and will do the same reduction as one with CC, and if you decide to CC or AW her, Chorine is more useful because she gets insane range (Pasive and active), as for the cost, they aren't really costly. Another thing to consider is Charles skill, which is kind of misleading because the only affected is she, not the party, and the enemy reduction is in reality only /2.2 not /2 but you need to SA her to use that extra .2.

She has the highest 3-target skill multiplier in the game (at 2.4x, shared with Dendrobium), but her statsline is rather lackluster (the only rainbows with worse stats are Helenium, Lycoris and Alstroemeria, and the last one is a free rainbow) and she's stuck with what is probably the worst rainbow ability in the game.

There may come a time where that ability is buffed to high heaven like the critical rate buffs were, but for now she isn't amazing. She's very cute though, and as always that is what really matters.

Name change situation is more complicated. While Oncidium should be reverted bc they basically made up her name, there are a number of other cases where the more common English name was used for flowers or slight variations that everyone seems to be fine with.

IE: Saffron Tulip when the Japanese uses Yellow Tulip. Chocolate Cosmos. Cary Ophyllus when the Japanese says Carnation (Taxonomic name is caryophyllus) etc

Each character comes with a job, and their rarity depends on their job rarity. You can get new characters and higher rarity jobs from gacha, then switch their jobs around to change their skill set and sprite.
They don't announce the rate for job gacha, but it wasn't that hard for me to roll a bunch of SSR. Either way, not many game out there has worse SSR rate than FKG.

In X-OverD non-maxed out jobs are useless. So you will pull plenty of SSRs, but they will be here and there, while you want one girl to have one SSR job at max limit break.

At DMM they do pick up gachas, where only 4 girls are available at once, so you can max them out with sensible amount of rolls.

Also, you never get "useless dupes". Once you maxed out some job, it will never come again in gacha, so its technically possible to buy out entire premium gacha and have 100% of all jobs of all girls and not spend millions.

Here's how it looks.
Basically, there's one character, say, Sefira (on screenshot). Character has no rarity, and always exists only in single copy, and there are no limits on storage or anything, and has single "character level".
Each character has many jobs of different rarity. Each job has rarity, level and limit break. Higher limit break (=dupes of this job), higher max level of job and better skills and abilities you can unlock.
LB0 SSR is worse than LBMax SR because stats are based on Char level, and skills for low-level SSR are shit and there's no stat bonus ability (its unlocked on max lb max level of job).

I also came back to aigis, but had only enough crystal for one draw, I got the platinum dancer.

My black collection suddenly grew to an amount where I can't even level every black unit I get anymore.

So the pumpkin endgame map is pretty much every undead monster to date tossed your way at once. The pumpkins got into the majin business too, so they've all got Bifrons aura buffing them.

Liches, mummy mage, skeleton samurai, you name it and they probably have it. Looks easy to 2* (you get 20 life) but terrible to 3*.
