The problem with banning is it offends the people who enjoy playing that hero,isn't 100% enforced and makes things too serious.

Hard carries don't really abuse noobs as much as the casual supports because of the sheer nuking potential in the game,a reimu can easily do 800+ damage in 2 seconds with 2 of her spells in the mid game.

I don't really see how picking the same hero and picking the same items really counts as try harding though,I play the hero I like to play and buy the items that give me what I want/need.

Not really keen on the idea of enforced randoming either,I've tried out most of the roster and have a pretty idea of the heroes I enjoy and the ones I don't enjoy and it wouldn't make sense to force myself to play a game I do not enjoy.

You can't ask of them to magically learn how the game works, especially since dots is so broken it is harder to understand the principles of the game. It is hard for someone inexperienced to understand exactly what they did right when the enemy heroes can't do jack vs your heroes or the team snowballed due to the nature of how broken this mod is.

You'll enjoy these games more once you stop having unrealistic expectations of your teammates. They are here to be cute 2hus, with cute /jp/sies, while wearing a skirt with little interest in the end result so long the game was reasonably enjoyable.
