As much as I understand hate towards EA I think they are doind a fine job managing the C&C title now. The gameplay is what you'd expect, the fmvs are back and they even broadcast some kind of show that is dedicated to Command & Conquer games. While some STILL wait for the sequel to Starcraft, they other can already enjoy rts set in either Tiberium or RA universe.

When it come to multilayer it's the best CnC out there.

I'll admit it.
I don't hate EA. I just can't forget Westwood is no more. It's been years, and I just can't get over it. It's sad, I know, but I just can't forget.
Rest in peace, Westwood. I'll never forget how we wreaked havoc on my old Amiga 500+ back in 1992.

I love the Jet-Tengus and VXs. The Rocket Angels are pretty nice too.

EA is the Great Satan, but RA2 was fun as hell. Not balanced or competitively playable in the least, but goddamn if it wasn't fun. I guess I'll pirate 3 eventually, but I'm never giving EA money if I can help it.

Yeah, I'm glad that they brought back the cheesy FMVs with the cheap costumes. I'm still amazed that EA managed to make a decent game, I'm having a lot of fun with it. And like Aorf said, it's as good as if not better than RA 1 and 2, the interface and stance improvements are great. I can finally crush things without right-clicking like a madman.

No matter how balanced it was, it was pure spam, all you had to do was get a better economy and you win most of the time, yes i know it's like that in all games but in TW it was horrible the whole game play mechanic was broken too spamy, no single well managed unit could do anything, in ra3 one single unit can be the difference between victory and defeat.

A games balance is determined by macro and micro Tiberium wars had little to no mirco. Red Alert 3 on the other had has a good balance between them and the counter system makes scouting number one priority.
