You could say much the same thing about most incident-causers; for example, in the Imperishable Night incident, how Eirin and Kaguya's plan almost totally fucked over the youkai of Gensoukyou and brought the whole place crashing down. Lots of characters have done things that could put the Barrier at risk in one way or another, but usually not intentionally. Sumirenko, too, didn't fully understand what the ramifications of her plan would be, so I don't think it's fair to hold that against her too much.

Hina is loveliest touhou, but Tenshi is just too good. Suwako is the most interesting god in the series and I can't help but root for Ichirin.

She's been featured in one chapter of Hermit, appeared briefly in another, and been in the two new chapters of CoLA. That's hardly 'everything'.

While I can understand your feeling that CoLA is being co-opted to push an overarching storyline and losing some of its original coziness, you must admit that it's the most natural series for Sumirenko to appear in. And two chapters is a pretty limited sample size; there were at least two chapters of the old run that tied in with Bougetsushou, so the little we've seen so far isn't unprecedented.

Favourites haven't changed, so I thought I'd rank them in order of who I'd like paizuri from most. Not sure how Iku didn't make the top 10.

I don't know why I randomly clicked /jp/ today, but here you go. I'm surprised Touhou hasn't fully reclined yet. It's nice to see, I still have all my touhou folders on my pc from ages ago.

Rather than extra features, I'd prefer you fixed the categories. Having "not girls" as one is stupid, because the characters in it have basically nothing in common, and it's the kind of arbitrary distinction that a secondary would make. You could also make them more granular.

I'd break them down like this:
- One for each Windows game that debuted at least one character. Include each character it debuted who was named and either playable or a boss. (Consider Aya to have debuted in 9.5 for this.) Checked by default.
- One for each PC-98 game. Include each character who was named and either playable or a boss. Not checked by default.
- One for each print series. Go by umbrella title, so Sangetsusei and Bougetsushou are each one box; that makes four manga, plus CoLA, plus the music CDs. Include each new character who appeared and was named. Not checked by default.
- Finally, one for 'minor characters'. Include anyone who people might want, but who doesn't belong in any other category, such as Koakuma, Tokiko, Hisoutensoku, DiPP girl, and so on. Not checked by default.

Speaking of this, one extra feature that would be nice is a 'remove from sort' button, so if there's a character someone doesn't know or doesn't want to rate, they can just drop it from the list entirely the first time it shows up.

The way the "not girls" button works is that it is not a separate category. Rather, it works as a filter, removing the characters before it enters the sorting algorithm. Same with the duplicate PC-98 option.

I could split up the print series, but that is an huge hassle when the sort table is already enormous and extremely hacked together. The original Japanese sort website programmer evidently wasn't quite prepared for such a huge selection criteria. I'm considering overhauling the entire thing, but it's far too much work for little gain.

I'll consider the "remove from sort" feature though, it seems like a good suggestion.
