No idea why people expect ZUN to reuse the exact same idea for a one-off spin-off of an fairy manga arc that he once did, just because there's ONE new fairy to the fray. DS was an exception because ZUN didn't get around to adding scenes to StB.

The only remotely plausible way I see him doing a new GFW is to put Clownpiece as playable and actually program a new mechanic around her. Much as I don't want to see her backstabbing the three fairies just to re-add them as bosses, I would actually kind of enjoy having Clownpiece playable just to blast her haters' asses.

Well fairies don't need a good memory and they are likely easily distracted. In Hisotensoku Cirno forgets that she saw Alice together with the giant doll, but then in PoFV she remembers instantly that it's the event that occurs every 60 years. So her mind seems to be weirdly selective in what to remember well, but it doesn't seem to be a general thing. Unless she has alzheimer and her short term memory is fucked, but then everything in recent memory would be fucked. I mean they are all not bright to not mess with Reimu all the time, but Cirno simply seems more reckless than the usual fairy, could be because she is stronger and also cause she is dillusional about her own powers. You could see it how a very proud character would do something not very smart and then you would blame their pride and not their intelligence.

-There isn't much in canon. Meiling sleeping is only in soku and there she doesn't sleep while guarding the gate. Sakuya abusing Meiling is also not canon. Remilia seems to tease everyone, but all in all in contrast to other master/servants Meiling doesn't seem to be in a bad situation.
-Sakuya manages the whole SDM practically alone, but I don't remember there being anything about her receiving any shit from Remilia.
-Komachi gets scolded cause she is slacking off.

Yuyuko and Youmu's real relationship is more like a mother and child.

Youmu's special ending for Ten Desires even just had Yuyuko straight up publicly mom shaming Youmu by going around to everyone she knew in Gensokyo and going "Look at my little Youmu~" when Youmu had a chuunibyou phase.

You do realize this is no longer the case?

Reisen is one of the few character who hasn't stayed static and actually had some character development over the years. The original Reisen was a stuck up brat who still had her superiority complex from being a Lunarian whilst only being a rabbit and a refugee.

Eirin has been a lot kinder to Reisen in the recent materials except for the one time she fucks up early on FS. Throughout the main game Reisen showed she no longer thinks of herself as a Lunarian but as an Earthling.

In the good LoLK ending it had Eirin actually sit down Reisen for a good heart to heart talk, brief and explanation about everything that had happened. If this was the old IN era Eirin/Reisen this would've never happened.

Not everything that comes from official sources is canon. This is applicable to a bunch of western comics and some movie franchises like Star Wars.

Just because ZUN wanted to do a light comedy series doesn't mean we have to seriously consider its events when debating things that are happening in FS or WaHH. The clash between Inaba and the rest of the manga/games is what caused its "canocity" to be contested and ignoring that it exists proves who the real secondary here is.
