When you upload an image to 4chan all of the EXIF data is stripped. This way no one can see your GPS location. Included in the EXIF data is what makes it rotated when viewed on your phone. The photo isn't actually orientated correctly, your phone just reads instructions to display it that way. On other sites where EXIF data isn't stripped it will rotate the image for you when it is uploaded.
To post on 4chan you will have to first edit the images in a photo editor and properly rotate and save the image. While you are doing this you can reduce the dimensions of your colossal image.
