Best scene in Higurashi was at the end of Meakashi, with Shion and Mion in the escape tunnel. The MG translation has that scene as the only part in the whole VN where Mion refers to Shion as "oneechan", kind of a neat detail.

But I did enjoy G-Senjou (I rated it 7.6). But I enjoyed it DESPITE the overall plot being terrible due to the bullshit in early chapter 5. The individual chapters were good enough to make up for it, but it could have been so much better if it didn't drop the ball on the overall storyline so hard at that point.

most who have been to these would tell you the same
