I think the brownies are made beforehand, so we couldn't see the liquid state. Just place them in appropriate spots before baking and viola! Also, I'd assume she'd either make them a bit thicker or put enough frosting on them to cover any protrusions. Anything else would be utterly stupid if she was aiming to hurt you.

The blade could also slip into the gums, you know. Or it could be pushed down by the teeth onto the tongue and cause a nasty cut.
