In EX Azazel had knowledge of Chichigami (other world breast god) so that makes everything in EX happening at some point in the light novel timeline. It's probably after volume 16 and before 20 due to the ORC group being tied up in Romania sorting out the vampire crisis between volumes 14-16 and specific characters using certain abilities such as Asia summoning Fafnir.

Also there are references to EX in volume 21. References such as Ajuka mentioning that the other world beings know of their existence thanks to Rizevim and they might make contact within 30 years. This is foreshadowing of the great war with the other world beings that the kids were talking about.

Also when Trihexa is destroying everything, Azazel mentions that if he had more time he would have formed another contract with Typhon as the previous contract he made was used up as it was a one time summon. This is a reference to EX as he summoned Typhon to fight Loki. Azazel didn't have his memories wiped in EX he had them altered so that instead of remembering fighting Loki they remember fighting overpowered ancient weapons from the Dimensional Gap.
