Royal Flare is not really that hard to beat, it's actually her weakest level 2 spellcard, there's just a few simple rules you need to follow.

- Do not go higher in the air than Patchouli is, period. An airblock will lead to you getting crushed and eating 1.7k, a clean hit well over 3k. If you're below her, it doesn't matter since she can't get it off.
- Royal Flare has a vulnerable startup that's roughly 2/5th of a second, then an invulnerable period _after the flash._ If you see the flash, just stop everything and go immediately into block.

Basically, just keep pressuring her and she can't do it, and if you stay on the ground and block it you'll get crushed, but you can punish her.

Not bad, though. I think you're the first one around these parts to get the hint with my Meiling 5b 5b 5b 5b 5b silliness and just block it or run away from it. It's advantageous for me on block so if you try to poke out you usually get CH'd unless my timing sucks. ...Definitely needed to block more as Sakuya though. Her priority does not beat everything!

It's just some simple cancels, relatively easy stuff with some practice. When you know what goes into what and what can chain into what, it gets to feel pretty natural. The stuff I was doing was either copied off of people I was playing or taken from the wiki. There's people way better than I am with Patch and Yukari though, they're a terror!
