The only people who "suffer" are those who mindlessly persue "fun" because all that shit you enjoy is just temporary, when you cant find it you become depressed. Stoicism and Buddhism are the paths to happiness.

Stoicism doesn't put down anything enjoyable as liable to cause suffering. If you can do what you enjoy and still be at peace with yourself and the natural order of things it encourages it. The meditative and ascetic aspects of Buddhism are fine, but the attempt to completely rid oneself of all desire goes too far.
