Also, assuming that 700k means it's supposed to stop at 700kB filesize? It went past that and I had to close out of the window. I've not really done much when it comes to command line stuff.

I didn't see that before, whoops. Though the same error happened again. For some reason I guess it's not outputting VP8? Is there additional stuff I have to install for ffmpeg?

Yeah this is a bit beyond me as well.

But quick google indicates that you have to compile ffmpeg with libvpx support as it can encode VP8.

Heh I'm glad it works now, but it seems like a painful unnecessary step to have to do this.

Probably read up on the above link sometime, hopefully it will solve the problem and you won't have to do this extra step. Helps in the long run.

Also this is probably my OCD, but kindly consider putting the datestamp as the filename (you may have noticed thats what I've been doing above} also helps when looking through old pics and vids.

>> No.14434027

>>14434021
As I said, I'll definitely read up and try to find out how to get it working without the additional process. And you're right about timestamping files. I'll probably do that for the rest of them.

Can weatheranon or someone confirm?

Looking back at last year's thread, snow started to accumulate from 13 December 2014.

I'm an American living in Tokyo for a few months as a break from school.

Japan is a frequent visit but I have done some other train trips worldwide.

Currently in a language school. Learning even a little bit of Japanese has really made this place more easy and fun.

This was my second time to Aizu. I'm going to wait for snow to go again. It can be hard to take it easy in Tokyo so I like to make these trips into the countryside.

Watching this stream is much like looking out a window or staring at a fireplace. It has a calming effect. It allows you to slow down and just be the watching presences.
At first it just seems so odd and strange. But if you keep coming back to it eventually you get it. And you stay all year round.
I like to watch the clouds in summer, the snow pile up in winter, the people, the unique trains and most of all come here to this thread and talk about it with all of you.
