And how often does it happen? If we use 2x 20.3 (3) +9 she reaches 2x 126 damage. That's expected 2x 37 damage, not enough to kill Ne and I'm assuming both shots hit which is quite unlikely. Jintsuu has to hit two times and either score a crit or perfect armor rolls. If she fails to proc DA, she'll achieve 105 damage which is expected 16 hit on Ne, not much better than scratch. Keep in mind I'm talking about absolute maximum damage Jintsuu here. If you use weaker guns her chances of killing Ne drop.

Crafting is usually waste of resources. You may want to try standard BB or CV recipe few times but don't worry if you get CA or CVL, they will be able to carry your fleet anyway. You will get more big ships from 2-2 which you will unlock soon.

Sortie to 1-1 until you get more girls and can clear it easily, then to 1-2 and so on.

Focus on clearing quests but if something is too hard, no point in wasting all resources on it.

Unlock expedition 5 ASAP, it's the best one in the game. Try to get your third and fourth fleets (just read up on quest requirements and keep the girls you need but don't panic if one of them refuses to drop, it's normal).

If I had to choose - the latter. There's no ultimate goal. I'd say it's all about collecting qt girls, discovering new things, completing events and so on. The devs regularly release new content and prepare events. Fall event is coming so feel free to ask dumb questions when it starts. Expect to be called a faggot (a lot), though.

For what purpose? You have the wiki for this shit. Everything is neatly categorized (well, almost everything), finding specific quests or items is very easy. You'll memorize necessary chickenscratches in no time.

You can complete all the maps eventually but the devs are adding more slowly.

You're just gonna want to train your ships up, modernize the fuck out of them, and get t- 3-2 which is the first good grinding spot.

I use KC3Kai as my addon, but I'm a filthy mac heathen so I can't really compare stuff.

Your endboss is events. They come four times a year and bring unique items and ship girls, next one happens in the middle of next month. You're lucky it'll be an easy one. For now, focus on clearing up to 2-4 and unlocking the 3rd and 4th fleet through quests. Extra fleets mean more expeditions, and while you'll be hurting for resources for a while eventually you'll have more than you know what to do with. Always be sending your 2nd fleet on them for now.

To clear 2-4, you'll need carriers for air superiority and battleships or cruisers. Crafting a CVL or CV unlocks an easy quest that gives you a free Akagi, so try aiming for that. Crafting failures will net you CAs anyway. You've got a lot to catch up on, so just set small goals for yourself beyond that. When you finally get the hang of things, the Tokyo Express expeditions are vital to unlock and the X-5 maps are important to clear monthly for medals.

Generally, you're looking to build a larger, more diverse fleet, and equip them with your best equipment from daily development. End-game can be collecting missing dex entries, preparing for events and ranking.

At the point of the game where I am now, the only thing I am doing is Maruyu farming and waiting for event. When you have every girls available, the game is no longer a time sink.
PVP in the morning and then PVP in the evening and you can log off while waiting for events.

Kancolle is pretty well made actually. Compare to other mobage like PAD or LLSIF, you can actually spend zero money and hibernate for 3months and still be able to collect all girls.
You can easily reached end game in 3months time if you NEET hard so cherish your noob time. It is the best part of the game where the event maps are actually pose a challenge instead of you curbstomping it with ease.

World 3 barely take any time if you do 3-5, the slow BB monthy and 2-5 DD flagship quest only take you 1day of active playing. Spend another day for EO and you would be done for the month.
Those 28medals are closed to like 100screws after saving the 4 of them for Zuikaku. The limiting factor isn't screws, it is lack of quint and 3gou. Leveling torpedo sluts are hard work.

After 8 months of EOs I finally got Akashi a little over a week ago and got her leveled up a bit. I know there's some info as to what equipment is worth leveling, but I haven't figured out how to approach the priority, so I haven't actually used her yet. IBS was absolutely a blast to play through with an underlevel fleet. I reached end game around ttk level 102 and then just took it easy. For the first 3 months I was pretty hardcore even ranking for top500. Then LSC got implemented, thereafter I never rank anymore and just hibernate until events.

CLTs were banned. You couldn't use them at all in final maps. If you used more than 4 (BB+CV) in E7 you had a chance to go through additional battle before boss. Even if your composition was right, compass was still quite random. Hellish new enemy planes could kill anyone regardless of engagement or AACI (AACI helped a lot though). Maps were very hard to farm, especially E4. Each girl dropped on different map so you couldn't even aim for two at once.

I've calculated that the time spent sparkling the main fleet isn't worth the little extra chance of clearing the map, if there's even any to begin with, which I highly doubt. In fact there have even been occasions where I sortied ships with red morale and they performed as finely as ships which were sparkled due to getting MVP.

Besides I typically sparkle multiple sets of support expedition fleets to 100 (via PvP) before I even start sortieing to that map; I had 6 such sparkled support fleets for summer '15 E7. That means that if I don't bother to sparkle my main fleet, I can continue sortieing without stopping for a long time.

You have to reequip carriers. Carriers, BBs CAs need two escort DDs and Maruyu. That means you have to choose formation too. Light ships need escort as well unless you want to take high risk of scratch.
Sparkling light ships on 1-5 won't help that much because you have to reequip them twice.

What I did was sparkling scratched/shouha ships alone and bucketing them when they reached 85 morale but it wasn't always viable.

With your gear you'll definitely want to go through the night battle node with as heavy fleet as possible. The final form of the boss has a huge armor boost so if you go through 3 battles you'll suffer from ammo penalty reducing your firepower.

Some points:
-You only need 3 fighters for AS
-Don't use 15.5cm guns, they're rubbish
-Kitakami is useless against the boss since torpedo stat does nothing on installations
-Give 41cms for Haruna instead since she's higher level. 41cms get accuracy penalty on Kongou class
