The skepticism is understandable. The .RAR basically contains 12.849 ogg files, and a SEEN.txt. I'm sure Anonymous will verify the contents after they've finished downloading the ~200 meg file.

There is a volume control on the right click menu so you can turn the BGM down a bit to hear the voices clearly. Will start playing through all the routes again tomorrow. Think I'll start with Mai's.

Met all the main characters at least once now and voices are working and matching with the correct line. Just copied the files from the patch into the Standard Edition and it worked no problem. Saving and loading works fine but it breaks any old saves you might have from before you patch.

"Best" is for PS2. I think it contains the same content as Standard All Ages.

In the patch I'm using, Nayuki's route is really unedited. Weird typoes and grammatical errors, but the actually annoying thing is overlapping text.

I'm using kanon_translation_english_patch_october_2008.zip

Fixed in this patch? In the one I'm using Ayu's H-scene isn't translated, so I suspect some things have changed at least.

I made no editing changes, so that route still has an Engrish quality. I did however, fix the line numbers. That would probably correct most of the overlap problems. Here's an example from the end of SEEN0402.
