Pulled the trigger and just ordered my first Fumo, will update when it arrives, paid extra for the expedited shipping as it wasn't much difference between normal and expedited on solaris.

If by NA you mean Canada, you have to deal with customs fees. SAL *should have* a lower chance of being taxed than EMS, but it's not an exact science. Might still be worth a try. If you're in the US then don't worry.

Although, if you are buying several things and shipping them together, you should go with EMS, as the more you ship, the more cost efficient it becomes (at least, in comparison to small air packet). Also, I'm pretty sure EMS is insured, so if you are spending a fair chunk of change, make sure you use EMS.

I recently bought 3 fumos (Remilia Kourindou, Sanae and Tewi) from amiami, and usually I don't use EMS, but I used it this time simply because of the insurance. it was ~12,300 JPY, so I did not want to lose that money if my package was damaged. Of course, it would also be sad for me if my fumos were damaged, but I would rather get my money back with no fumos than simply have no fumos.
