Yes, that's exactly the problem I'm afraid of. I've already maxed all my idols and there's only a few rares I haven't gotten yet. Some of the 26-28 star difficulty songs are nearly impossible to s combo on master, but even then they only give 50 jewels for that. You can get a lot of jewels for play count of individual songs, but that takes too long. The nice thing about llsif was that it had dailies so you could get a gem every day (equivalent to about 100 star jewels). Once you finish the game content, the only way to get jewels will be events and login bonuses, which presently only give you 150 jewels a week. I'm sure they'll change things over time but right now I'm concerned that I've almost finished the game in just a month.

They're going to be continuously adding idols and songs to the game as time goes on so that will open up new star jewel opportunities. They're also going to be adding more idol conversations (The ones that require 2,000/10,000 fans for a particular idol before they unlock) for existing idols which will add more star jewels as well.

Star jewel acquisition was never going to stay at the rate it currently is considering the amount of content available on release. It's the oldest trick in the book to front load a lot of resources in a mobage to get people invested in the game.The fall off shouldn't be too bad though, especially considering they're fairly generous with event star jewels.

I'm sugar coating it a little since I love im@s as a series but realistically I'd say start worrying in two months or so if there's barely been any new content.

As of now, CG stuffs combines old imas and their own type/stat.
So you have idol type of Cu Co Pa (Cute Cool Passion) and each of them have the Vo Da Vi stats (Vocal Dance Visual).

To be fair, Regular songs, specifically 12 Stamina songs, are the most efficient EXP wise, so if you're trying to get your level up as fast as possible, it makes more sense to play those.
And if your overall team doesn't have enough raw stats to do well on Pro, there's not a whole lot of reason to play it right now with the event going on.

I play like you do so all I did was S ranking Cinderella on Master to farm the heart things and then S rank the event sonce on Pro since I'm not good with Master.

I'm left just outside the reward ranking at 113000 or so and don't really have any more time to play until the end of the event, boo. Guess I could have made it if I planned a little more and played more efficiently, I've wasted hundreds of stamina points on attempting master songs and failing them, maybe should have tried that when the event wasn't going on. Better luck next time.

I'm not sure if it works this way for normals, but for rares and up they actually do have higher drop rates than everything else when they're first introduced.

It's how they get you to drop money with the hope you'll get the new card you want, not that I have experience dropping $25 for SR Koume or anything.
