It depends on circumstances. Your body may start to rot, and then be eaten by maggots and other insects, leaving a skeleton behind. If you are outside, vultures and other scavengers may eat most of it. Or somebody may find it and have it cremated.

I don't really see the distinction. What is the difference between "I have failed in my obligations to my family/my superiors/my religion/my society/etc., I shall kill myself." and "I'm a NEET with no hope and no enjoyment, I shall kill myself." ? I can easily imagine OP (or whoever OP is pretending to be) being in a position to think the second, but I have a hard time coming up with a rule that would separate the first from the second.

For both situations, the (un-met) criterion for living is to have some interaction with the world that 1) satisfies society's mores, and 2) satisfies the practitioner. The first case, the ancient, disgraced man, cannot continue in his current position (1), and cannot abandon his responsibilities, fleeing to obscurity (2). The second case, the NEET, cannot continue in his current position (1), and cannot enter the world he despises and hates (2).

One difference I can see is that "honor" is considered more worthy than "enjoyment", but I don't think that would actually reflect on the motivations for death. Rather, that distinction would only distinguish between a life lived in pursuit of honor and a life lived in pursuit of enjoyment. The act of suicide, and it's motivation, in both cases can be generalized to "I have lived in a certain way, and this has led me to a position in which to continue is intolerable.". From that perspective, the act of suicide can hardly be moral for one and immoral for the other. A judge who distinguishes between the two would have to do so based on the "certain way". But that is how they lived, not how they died, so the Yama's judgement would not be against "an easy escape".
