I didn't think much of her design in the way of "murrica." Invading the moon, she or other Hellbeings must have seen the flag and just thought of it as pretty and colorful, without thinking deeply of any meaning it had. She is a fairy, isn't she? For CP her outfit and the pattern is nothing more than a fun colorful design that she saw once and thought would make a cute jester outfit. And it does.

ZUN likes to work with themes and in this game it's the moon so obviously the moon landings are going to be present in the designs somewhat, similar to how UFOs were used in th12.
