Wait how is Keine an ISTJ?

In fact how are we even supposed to even gather psychological profiles from any of these damn characters. Canonically they are fairly basically written. I mean some of them are well established enough to be able to grasp some insight into their psychological inputs, but at that point it seems to be more of a separate author thing, and it's probably more interesting to guess at a person's type through their fanwork than anything else. Eh, I'm basing my observation on the stereotypical traits of ISTJ:
"ISTJs are logical, organized, sensible, and earnest traditionalists who enjoy keeping their lives and environments well-regulated. Typically reserved and serious individuals, they earn success through their thoroughness and extraordinary dependability. They are capable of shutting out distractions in order to take a practical, logical approach to their endeavors, and are able to make the tough decisions that other types avoid. Realistic and responsible, ISTJs are often seen as worker bees striving steadily toward their goals. Despite their dependability and good intentions, however, ISTJs can experience difficulty in understanding and responding to the emotional needs of others.[10]"
Quoting Wikipedia.

This sure describes Youmu and Reisen.

>There isn't much of anything that reads to me as "Subjective sensation" and as such
For Youmu, read her chapter in CiLR, about how she keeps finding things out for herself, with some hints from Yuyuko.
For Reisen, read the whole of Inaba.

Not him but relating to this, when doing tests or surveys similar to this I tend to 'read into' the question and usually try and answer so I can influence my results towards a particular personality type, usually INXY. been a long long time since I've taken one of these.
I went from ENFP to INTP by getting a job after 6 years of neethood.
I just want to lay around, sleep, daydream, drink and play video games with internet friends. doing stuff sucks.

I guess a lot of the things this site's telling me about myself, particularly the strengths and weaknesses page, are accurate. I wouldn't say I'm big on presenting ideas and solutions though. I mostly just like it when people compliment me for my big muscles and the things I do with them. I don't like brain-related work. fuck that. I just wanna sweat, go home, take my pants off the FUCK off, and think about komachi and how perfect she is.

Indeed, some people just can't be honest with themselves at all even in an internet test resulting in an error margin.

>>13992216
The E-I, N-S don't vary much at all, however i think that the ones that vary the most are the F and T and even further, it seems that these two seem to vary the most in Introverted types.
Most people like to "think" that they are not drived or affected by strong feelings, however a lot of those people seem to have a wrong perception about themselves. A true INTP is indeed rare.
Of course, i'm not saying that every person is not honest with themselves, but is kind of interesting to see how the variation between INFP and INTP seem to work.

I got INTP with the one in OP.

I got ISTJ with this one, but it also recommended ESTP and INTP. I think I made a mistake, because the ISTJ explanation said I care more about previous experiences than hard facts, when I actually care about both, placing the biggest of importances on hard facts, but not setting them in stone.

Funny thing is, I usually get INTP or INTJ, and I didn't get INTJ with that one, not even as a recommendation.

The myer-briggs test is pseudopsychological bullshit. The only reason you guys like it is because it makes you feel good by labeling you with adjectives. IQ test is useless, too. If you need an adjective to label yourself and possibly tell other people, you are insecure or arrogant. My dad's a psychologist, and I've read his books and often debate with him on psychology. You're full of shit.

First of all, the IQ test is NOT bullshit. It measures how well and fast you find patterns, and as such, how well and fast you understand and learn shit, and thus a measure of your intelligence.

As for the Jung personality test, it IS supposed to change over time, as your tastes, aptitudes and strengths change. That doesn't make it bullshit, it makes it dependent on your current state of mind. Which is useful for psychologists to know how to approach you (you wouldn't approach an introvert the same way you'd approach an introvert, and you wouldn't approach someone with prevalent "thinking" characteristics as you'd approach someone with prevalent "feeling" ones).

You're just butthurt because someone once called you a retard due to your IQ, your Jungian personality (lemme guess: ENFJ/P?) or a mixture of both.

Now, shit like "multiple intelligences"? THAT is retarded bullshit.

Yeah they have control questions to see if you're lying. You have to be very careful. My mother is a psychologist so I know a lot of the tricks but even I would probably fail answering some of them.

The easy controls are like "I sometimes get very angry" "I think of things that are too bad to talk about"

Because these are all NORMAL occurrences but if you think they reflect poorly on you and you are trying to manipulate the test by lying you will be found out.

Some are a lot more tricky and it's impossible to guess right on all of them, but I bet that's where you screwed up on.

Another way to catch liars is to throw similar questions and see if you change your answer (they frame the negatives differently)

>> No.13993338

Some of these questions are ass

>In a discussion, truth should be more important than people’s sensitivities.
Depends on the situation. They're trying to see if you're "thinking" or "feeling", but one can make a "feeling" choice from a thinking platform.

>Being right is more important than being cooperative when it comes to teamwork.
see above

>Winning a debate is more important to you than making sure no one gets upset.
same

>You think that romantic feelings do not last for very long.
>You feel like some personal problems would be beyond your means of coping.

For example you can do this test (I did the "short version" for brevity's sake)

You can look at all of the scoring ways to tell what they gauge shit by. The t score is what you should be looking at. Anything over 65 is two standard deviations above the mean, and is statistically significant. But it does make sense, I'm an introvert and my best friend is an Extrovert.
Because he's an Extrovert I actually open myself up more and such because he's so outgoing , while I'm more laid back.
So because of those differences we have a good balance when we hang out together (1 -1 = 0)

If I would for example hang out with another Introvert, it would probably just be awkward with us being silence most of the time.
