I mean some of them are well established enough to be able to grasp some insight into their psychological inputs, but at that point it seems to be more of a separate author thing, and it's probably more interesting to guess at a person's type through their fanwork than anything else. Not him but relating to this, when doing tests or surveys similar to this I tend to 'read into' the question and usually try and answer so I can influence my results towards a particular personality type, usually INXY. I usually notice my results are close to 100% introversion, between 0-50% Intuition, then borderline for the other 2.

First of all, the IQ test is NOT bullshit. It measures how well and fast you find patterns, and as such, how well and fast you understand and learn shit, and thus a measure of your intelligence.

As for the Jung personality test, it IS supposed to change over time, as your tastes, aptitudes and strengths change. That doesn't make it bullshit, it makes it dependent on your current state of mind. Which is useful for psychologists to know how to approach you (you wouldn't approach an introvert the same way you'd approach an introvert, and you wouldn't approach someone with prevalent "thinking" characteristics as you'd approach someone with prevalent "feeling" ones).

It got me out of military duty. My psychologist wrote that I have some slight personality disorder and I'm a hypochondriac.

For example you can do this test (I did the "short version" for brevity's sake)

You can look at all of the scoring ways to tell what they gauge shit by. The t score is what you should be looking at. Anything over 65 is two standard deviations above the mean, and is statistically significant. Google the definition of the category of anything you score near or above there to determine what type of personality you have.

Because he's an Extrovert I actually open myself up more and such because he's so outgoing , while I'm more laid back.
So because of those differences we have a good balance when we hang out together (1 -1 = 0)
