First day I went around the corporate booths and spent around 20k yen. 3rd day I spent little under 10k yen. Spent 1k~ per day on train. spent 1k~ on food

There isn't much luck in it. It really depends what time you can get to the venue. Taking the first train is a must, but even then you won't be in the front if your train doesn't arrive early enough. I got there around 6:15, but even then I was in the back. The other alternative is to get a hotel nearby or wander around the area overnight (which is frowned upon , but people still do anyway).

CDs are usually 1k yen each. Canonically, that's $10, though JPY is low at 1/120 right now.

I was able to grab one for 500 yen, while one was 2000 yen.

I had a Boss Coffee and Pocari Sweat in the morning, and an onigiri on the way back. That's about 400 yen.

My bus/subway fares were: 210 yen bus from Toyocho to Shin Kiba, 270 yen subway from Shin Kiba to Kokuten. Double that for the way back, and it comes out to around 1k yen.

Considering you'll probably eat more food, you'll spend about 2k on logistics.

I wonder if I should let someone from /jp/ stay at my place for winter comiket, then we could go together, as I've got a spare futon from when I first moved here.
