I can't think of one I liked over all.
Maybe MuvLuv and Alt as a whole, playing them was a long but extremely fulfilling experience.
But I also loved Sharin no Kuni, Swan Song, Clover Heart's G-senjou no Maou, Scarlett, Hello World, Tsuyokiss, Air, Clannad and Eien no Aselia.
I guess I'm someone who can like a lot of different genres.
And I've been getting into Liar-soft recently, Forest is probably going to become one of my favorite too.

It was not. It had better production values. But it lacked relationship drama; it was either standard grade love comedy or SF. The SF was very good, but then you could have sex with ANY of the girls, nor could you even date them or get involved in them to any degree -- it's like the girls were there only to fullfil the bare minimum requirements to be called a VN. There are no branches or aternate endings -- there is one branch and one ending, the whole "game" is literally just a light novel loaded down with gigantic reams of exposition technobabble. And talking. Wow did these girl love to talk. They'd spend an hour discussing the metaphysical points of duty to the nation and fighting.
