Which is silly, because Chang'e is apparently imprisoned for god knows what somewhere and she doesn't even know, which makes her think her plan works at first but it really doesn't. Instead, she forcefully made the Lunarians and rabbits try to populate Gensokyo and mess the whole universe, so no one that matters even cares about the Moon.

Next 2hu will probably be about Lord Tsukuyomi actually being a 2hu girl(!) and being the villain behind it, purposely pissing off Junko and the Lunarians, making them go purify Earth while Chang'e has to play with rocks in some magically sealed basement until Raymoo shows up to rescue her.

Junko refined her hatred so it was blind rage to the point she had a completely tranquil face and she was devoted entirely to her revenge staging an entire attack on the lunar capital.

She refined the fairies who were already pretty much just lifeforce into extremely pure lifeforce making them more lively and impure to Lunarians somehow.

Her concept of purity is different from the Lunarians by the way.

So I'm reading dialogue translations on touhouwiki:

Perhaps, but you have to remember the Lunarians were dealing with something they probably never expected to happen, and likely thought wasn't even possible, and so were freaking the fuck out which is why the best plan they could come up with was to fuck off to the dream world and wait for everything to blow over. The problem is that people assume that people can do anything ever that pertains to their ability with every Touhou and every ability, which is silly. Like say, if Rumia can control darkness, why doesn't she make it dark forever instead of just maintaining a small ball of darkness? Because her ability isn't absolute and her "can control darkness" thing is limited to the small ball. Reimu in contrast has a shitty ability but ridiculous power to go with it so she can take the "can fly" thing and use it to fly outside reality.

Evidently Sagume's ability doesn't cover the part where she says "I think this Junko fellow is a fine woman and that she will conquer the Lunar Capital no problem" to prevent her from doing that, which makes sense since her whole shtick is that life goes out of its way to suck for her, so she needs to keep her mouth shut.

Her using her ability in dialogue is probably just a "hey, good luck saving our asses out there" thing rather than anything surefire.

Sagume is apparently pretty well known by Yukari and Kanako. What god is she based on again? Some sort of amanojaku I suppose?

Amanosagume. She's associated with amanojaku and convinced Amewakahiko to shoot a bird that heavenly gods sent to keep him in check (he was supposed to quell insurrections and prepare the country for Ninigi's arrival but started making other plans along the way).

That's her entire gimmick in folklore, so ZUN probably included her because her role in having an archer shoot a divine bird ties to the Houyi/Xihe story. If so, it's probably her that Junko should be gunning after.
