I'm still at chapter 1, so I'm not sure. But from what I've heard, there's 3 routes: AA, A and B. AA and A are gotten by just playing the game, and which one you get depends on choices you make end-game. B route can't be gotten unless you've already completed the game once, and getting to that one involves the red and green triggers.
No routes for specific characters, though.

The patch stops when you see the Chapter 8 on screen. If you don't, then it's just temporary.

You can rewrite it yourself. Just edit the files in the nss folder and the game text changes automatically, no further insertion necessary. Just be aware that it crashes at certain random words, such as 'cut'.
