Thanks man, going night battle route with 5BB 1CV with yasen stuff and did it in my first try.
So many buckets and ressources saved but i think it was the luckiest run i will ever do on this map. Ri Kai and Ne cut-in doing scratch damage on night battle node, 2 Ru Kai + Wo flag on green T doing scratch too on pre boss node and the boss focusing Kaga, i will never see that again but it was so good. I got Asashimo too during that run.
When you expect nothing to come out of a run and that kind of stuff happens, it feels great. Looking forward the event.

I'd say 6-3 is quite similar but at the same the opposite of 3-5. On 3-5 the hard part is getting to the boss. 6-3, you only get scratched on the way but can fail at boss node.

I managed to clear Winter E1-4 Hard in two days with pic related. Had 35/24/31/26 and 546, fell to 4/8/9/21 and 334. E5 was too much though and after wasting whole week, I dropped down to easy, cleared without a single retreat and focused on farming E4.
If the next event is like Spring, you'll easily clear it on Hard. However if we get bullshit like Water Oni + Himes, it might be too much for you.

My lv57 Yuubari has 49 ASW.
With three T3 Sonars and one T3 DC she reaches 49 damage in line ahead and 66 in double line.
If they were upgraded (I assume +1 ASW) it would be 53 and 71 respectively. However, remember to multiply the result *0.8 after subtracting armor value if you fought three battles before the boss.

Ka flag has 30 armor and 37 HP so Yuubari with upgraded ASW oneshots the sub in double line with decent armor roll. In Line Ahead even two hits probably won't be enough.

Mutsuki-class have the same Fuel/Ammo usage across their forms, and in expeditions that only use fuel there's no difference in using any DD, bar gas guzzlers like Shimakaze and the Germans.

Tenryuu-class is a whooping 5 more ammo in their Kai form and that resource is pretty much the easiest to come by. Remodeling Yuubari would be a bigger efficiency misstep. And you'll only notice it if you're doing the low-return/high-rate runs like 2 or 3.

It's moderately worth it to keep a base form of the Chitose and Houshou for expeditions. A base Yuubari helps for ones that only burn fuel. You can keep a Furutaka/Aoba, but CA turn up in expeditions so rarely (#36 is the only one) it's not worth losing sleep over.

I couldn't do that, I joined at the end of March and spent most of April no further than 1-5 and had only Akagi and Fusou for heavy ships by the start of April. Then I spent the first 2 weeks of April training. I spent a week saving up resources, only to blow em all trying to craft more CV/Ls like a dumbass, and making equipment. So I only had 15k going into the event. I got down to 5k and still hadn't cleared E1 and figured I was beyond help.
Then I got a stroke of luck finding Hiei and Kongou, and got myself back to 8k in a week and ran as much as I could. In the end I stalled on E-5, and decided to farm.
I got nothing over a Sendai from that and the event burned out without me ever seeing the end. Based on my first map, I'd assumed I would make it to E-4, so I did alright for being a hopeless cause.

Now I'm considerably more experienced.
I had 2 DDs at lv 40 leading my fleet in the Spring. Now I've got 4 Kai Nis, 6 CVs, 5 FBBs, Nagato Kai 51, Kitakami K2 and Ooi Kai, and a much larger array of stuff to work with. My highest ships are in their low 50s, since I spent my time after the event training my BBs so I'd never have that issue of not being able to kill anything again after my CAs failed to hit and got critted every time I used em.

I still need more equipment and I'm only at 27k fuel due to all the training I've been doing on my CAs, CVs, and CLTs. It took me 60 tries to get my first Reppu btw.

Lack of Fighters fucked me hard in the Spring Event. I had to fulfill AS requirements with nothing better than Type 52s. I have 9 Reppuu now, but thinking back on it, it was pretty agonizing.
