I know what you mean. Compilation as in, scenes from multiple JAVs cut together into a mix. Those usually don't get rips, there are always exceptions, but usually you won't find anything on nyaa and the other typical sites.

What you can do is look up the actresses that star in the compilation, see their history (what films they've been in) and look for the label that did the compilation. With a little luck, you'll find the original.

Also, most compilations don't come in HD, even though their source material might.

That is exactly the problem and the main reason there's few decent screen captures out there. I tried a couple times myself and the results were stuttery as fuck. And the problem becomes apparent quickly, because even when you watch it without capping it stutters like that. It has nothing to do with which capture program you use, the player is the problem.

The only option is those programs designed to remove DRM by screencapping, I think they have a method of playing it on their "own" built-in player, thus eliminating the shitty stuttering. However, those programs usually give few encoding options and in shitty codecs, meaning you have quality drawbacks in other areas.

Well, you can view the site and it's films without an account, just not watch/download them.

I had an account a friend got me a while back, so here's some thoughts.

Lots of films of lots of genres, so you'll probably find something you'll like, I got a shitload of my old GAL films from there.

Quality of the films/encodes varies though. A LOT, like some of them are tiny resolution, have no audio, etc... Quality control is missing somewhat.

You get access to a site for uncensored DVDs too, which is nice, but the whole quality control issue is the same.

It is not a bad site by any means, but it shows it's age. Don't get it for an entire year, just a few months.

Even with this I'd disagree, some films are sold as "HD" and only have a resolution of 720p (which technically IS high definition, but still bullshit, because you'd expect 1080p), and even in Full HD, given that the maximum bitrate is fucking 6 Mbps, which only maybe HEVC could make a decent video of, certainly not WMV, DVD rips can actually look better at standard resolution than the HD material you get at R18 if you encode them properly.

Probably Dxtory. Downloading Lagarith with it means you can record losslessly and then encode it properly into a file of adequate size. A 3 hour film would be about 150-160 GB in Lagarith lol. You can encode that file to AVC or HEVC to get a decent size out of it. But as I said, making those stuttering issues go away is impossible until they fix their video player.

Otherwise, I guess you could look into those DRM removal programs I mentioned. I think Audiobites or something and Aimersoft are the most popular ones. I never touched them and won't start, so take it with a grain of salt.
