Hey,

I was thinking about ordering something from amazon.co.jp. Has anyone experience with that?

>> No.13709512

>>13709446
I only ordered some books and went through it like I normally do for the western Amazon, but someone told me that only works for books.

Meh, that would suck.

I wanted to order this: http://www.amazon.co.jp/gp/offer-listing/B00DELFMYG/ref=olp_tab_used?ie=UTF8&condition=used

Anyone knows if the dakimakura cover is included as well? I have trouble with moonrunes

Just give me your credit card number and I will buy it for you. Your address would also be helpful

I never managed to ship overseas through resellers. You can try yahoo auctions through a proxy like noppin, though

>> No.13710132

I ordered a stupidly expensive Blu-Ray box-set and got slapped with a £70 import charge.

If there's a way around that, I'd love to hear it.

Yep. They're great, but they don't give you an option other than SUPER-FAST-AND-EXPENSIVE shipping method.

-They take VISA.
-Can only order books, CDs and movies. No games.
-Can only order items sold directly by amazon.jp
-However, sometimes items "fullfilled" through amazon.jp will go through.
-They use DHL. They've been pretty reliable so far, and give you the option to "sign" or leave a "signed note" on your door.

No.
You need to tick the box that says Amazon global eligible.

They filter out all the fun stuff.

Yeah, I read about them.
This whole system sounds like a rip-off, though.
Why should I pay money to get the privilege of paying for things I want to buy?

>>13710864
>>13710981
Sad. I guess I will have to wait until I can go to Japan again and order the stuff there.
Thank you.

I have bought CDs and books from there. You won't be able to buy figures. Sometimes, some sellers can and will ship overseas, but it is a case by case thing.

However, non Amazon seller means that your package may be lost in limbo for MONTHS.

My experience is: >EMS ONLY → Expensive as fuuuuck.

But sure, if you have the cash.

Also, certain/many/some goods won't be buyable anyways.

If it is for books, I hear that honto is actually cheaper. However, amazon is cheaper if you order the books as collections.
