How expensive is this Karma event in terms of SC (refills) compared to all of the other events? I think I spend 2 SC a day on refills, double than what I had anticipated. But, I'm going for 1200 serum and I skipped the first few days on the event all together.

Oh fuck yes, I just beat Castle Retake for the first time, and I feel like a star!
I know it's not that big a deal, but it was a pain in the arse and the team I beat it with(pictured) isn't all that great.

Admittedly, I only 1 star-ed it, and I relied on RNG-Rogue goodness to get through, but still, it's left me in a good mood.

I think it's time to get cracking with CC-ing units, as trying to get further with only the 1 is probably pushing my luck.

It's the real kind. There's a playing field, each side draws cards, and can choose to use cards. (You can use as many as you want in a turn, but you're limited by their Mana Cost. Max Mana increases each turn if I remember correctly).

Two main types of cards, Units and Magic. Magic can further be split into Buffs/Debuffs, Traps, and the ones that happen right away, I.E. deal 1500 damage to an enemy Unit.

You can have 50 Cards in a deck.

Also, for combat. Units have a separate Attack and Defense value.

When it's your turn, you can choose targets for each card (you can have multiple cards target the same enemy). From what I remember, when your unit attacks it deals it's Attack Value to the enemy unit's Defense, if the enemy unit's defense hits 0 it dies. But at the same time, the enemy unit will counter and subtract your card's Attack by the enemy's Defense. If your unit's Attack reaches 0, it'll die. Once the turn is over, all units have their Attack and Defense returned to max.

Units also have Skills and passives that they can do instead of regular Attacks, but I didn't have any good skills on my units so I didn't mess around too much with them. But I've seen ones like, Passive +300 Attack on all Fire Element Allies.

But because of the whole separate Attack and Defense thing, there are units with really skewed stats. Like, rushers that cost almost nothing and have actually really decent Attack, but are absolute shit so if you don't wipe out the enemy in that turn because they'll get massacred the next turn. And also low cost Defense-heavy units that are basically useless for attacking.

It uses two Gachas. You get a ton of one of them (the free one), and then I think Quests and Daily Logins sometimes give the other. I think I've even gotten multiple HRs from the Free Gacha. Best I've gotten from the Premium Gacha is SR (one tier higher). So I think the Free Gacha actually has a somewhat decent drop rate.

High rarity cards also cost a lot more to deploy onto the field even if you draw them though, so it somewhat balances out. Also, you can level up Unit Cards (I don't think you can level up the Magic ones).

Maintain a stock for events (20 or so is a good start, but you may want more), and if you really want to try your luck, you can roll after that. ONLY use the premium roll (5 SC) since that one has the best rates. But remember that the goddess hates you, and it is highly unlikely you'll get anything of note.

The current event is a perfect example of events you need to save crystals for. To get the best unit from the current event, players had to pay an average of around 20 sacred crystals to get her maxed out.

The monday daily missions have a small chance to drop platinum armors. If you use a plat armor with 3 fairies matching the unit's rarity, you get 8000exp. It's best to do this when they're high level already as leveling gets more expensive the higher they get. This is also your huge source of gold.

I highly recommend you check out the ulmf thread linked in the OP. It has some guides on best places to farm and an exp chart for best times to use Platinum armors.

As for daily missions, the most important ones are Monday (for gold and plat armors) and Thursday (demon crystals). Don't worry about Wed and the fairy missions until you can do the hard modes. Else, spend extra stamina on challenge quests to get affection items.

And one last thing, do NOT make the mistake of combining silver units together. You will need spare silvers for CCing later on. I made this mistake early on and was going to abandon my account till my last premium roll gave me a Sybilla.

When you're starting out, for killing bosses to get better cards, grinding up some 2S2M R++ cards is good. Mind, if you have long-term plans for explorations, you'd want 4M UCs and Rs anyway (especially of Naga, Marin, Sophie and Athena for their buffs). But getting 2S2M versions for the short-term so you can get to the giveaway SRs faster is not a bad plan.

I just tried the 400 enemy subjugation map, seemed very easy, killed them all on my first try. I'll kinda be disappointed if it doesn't get a lot harder after 400.

For DMM aigis players, I currently have the option of Awakening GOLD Healer Iris or Priest Paula.

I really like Paula, but understand that at my point, with Iris being my best healer and this being my first awakening, that it may be wise to awaken Iris instead.

I look at GOLD Iris' stats on awakening on the JP wiki. Stat wise, her attack can really only gain up to 70 more points from the extra levels. But her 500 hp heal on deploy can be useful.

But here's the question, apparently her class changes to "Saint" which grants another effect. Google Translate isn't very clear but am I right to assume it clears status ailments?

It makes status ailments heal twice as fast. Lesser known, it also makes their healing take effect earlier on in the process of their heal animation, except with that Roberto dude. I'd suggest an archer for your first awakening though.

yeah, I really need good archers. I unfortunately do not have any real archers above silver. I started playing after those free gold serial codes expired.

What I did get from premium summons in the ranged department is Mounted Archer Daisy and Cannoneer Zola.

Daisy just got her awakening, but she's not a real archer and I suck at placing ranged units in melee slots. Zola has her moments but I can't seem to use her well either. Ranged enemies get her a lot.

They deal no visible damage to them, even with their skills active. The big fish goes ahead of a bunch of smaller fish, and I activate her skill, but nothing at all is happening to the big fish. Then, once its through, Nanaly proceeds to murder all of the small fish within seconds. It was quite fun to watch actually.

I used three witches, a cc60, cc40, and a level 50 on the right corner. By the time the fish got to Nanaly it was down to like 5%.

Step 11, 12, and 13 are just to burst down Rita when she appears. I've got pretty high level units though, so I wouldn't recommend 1 to 1 copy, but if you are having trouble with the big fish something in here might help.

At level 41 she has only 110 or so less attack than my 54 mage, and that's at a cost difference of 19 to 35, as well as having a stronger slowing effect than a witch, except aoe.

That's on top of having the 5 second time stop and giving me a fairly strong "Oh shit" 8 cost unit.

Outside of another broken black, you won't get that much worth out of any unit sub 19 cost unit.

She has 20 more range than a CC'd witch, 10 less than a CC'd mage, faster attack than a mage, haven't tested but I'm kinda certain it's a little slower than a witch, aoe is slightly smaller than a mage.

Has anyone found a trick to get through map 3 of the goldrush with a weak non cc'd team? The enemy long range mages completely obliterate my team, but I'd love to get a Mehlis.

Well, keep in mind that the summoner will passively heal everyone on the map, so what you really need healers for are surviving the enemy fire. Not sure if that advice helps.

I'm not sure if it's even possible. There's really not much you can do unless you can outheal the three Mages. The Summoner and Mehlis that they give you do plenty of damage, but unless you can survive the Mages it's pretty pointless.

Yeah same here. I've done a couple DH runs here and there to level up efficiently and one Phalanx 2 because I had to be out for the whole day. But that's about it. Phalanx 2 in particular I want to run for some fairies and affection items. I miss dailies too--particularly Thursday.

She's the absolute strongest against bosses (especially the bosses that are supposed to one-shot you unless you're using super-tanky Awakened units).

Of the Events around where we are:

Yurina and Odette are great if you can actually do the harder maps to farm for skill ups. Yurina is a Dark Knight with an Aura Skill that reduces all enemy damage, Odette is a Mage with an Aura Skill that reduces the damage of all enemy mages.
Shiho is also great if you know the map you're doing ahead of time. She's a hybrid Healer/Witch, but she can quite literally out-heal Saria who is considered a godly Healer when they both have their skills up.
Claudia is honestly the greatest Offensive-Princess in the game other than (and sometimes actually stronger than) Sybilla. She can ignore Magic Resistance, which is important when fighting bosses like Hellfire Amon who has like 1k Defense and 80% Magic Resistance.
Rita in the picture is pretty great because she can essentially become "invisible", so you can place her way forward, to kill stuff and then stealth her if enemy ranged units are coming by.
Fran who is a Vampire Hunter and hilariously tanky with her skill. She can quite literally out-tank like 80% of melee units in the game. The main exceptions being Heavy Armors.

In Rushes they work trickily
You first have to 3-star the map. (The map by itself drops some silver and some extras like affection and fairies)
Then after you 3-starred it, the platinum appears as an enemy near the end, you have to kill it and it has a low chance to drop for you. It does not show up in regular loot table though.

I got her from a gold rush a while back and didn't think her skill was useful so I ignored her, then slowly but surely I realized...she's immortal.

I've come to realize she has quite possibly the single best utility skill an archer could have. She can solo a lich for godsake, and those mummy mages that have avenger? yeah, she can just completely ignore all of that.

Yeah, she doesn't have any fancy attack 4 or quadra shot, but she is invaluable against any high damage ranged.

The whole thing seems utterly random switching the problem between browsers and configurations. I have both Chrome and FF with acceleration disabled, they work fine MOST of the time, but sometimes decide to randomly start crashing non-stop. I just switch to the other and the problem is gone. I use FF myself and I know the pain of random crashes. These days I make sure to close all instances of firefox before opening aigis, then play like a 11 charisma map to see if it doesn't crash first before doing the stuff that matters. This way I usually manage crashes alltogether.
Having something like youtube or a twitch stream open at the same time as playing aigis is like a 80% guaranteed crash.

The next collection event is probably the worst one though. It requires around 300 more stamina than Karma's event. And Lian isn't nearly as useful as Karma or really any of the other collection units.

To expand on this in Karma's event you need more serum(1200) than you need scrolls(700). But Karma's maps have a much better drop to stamina ratio ~2.2 for maps 7+8 while it's under 1 for all the maps on Lian's event. Her last map costs 8 stamina but only has 8 drops and I don't know the %'s but all 8 aren't guaranteed for sure.

It's probably a silly question now that I've already got Cypria to level 50, but I plan on CCing her shortly. I want another good duelist (Princess and Prince isn't quite enough. Would like another) I understand people in general dismiss rogues immediately. But, what's Cypria like compared to all other rogues? And what are rogues like as a duelist overall? Despite them not being liked by most people. Everytime I've used them, they're great. And this isn't including insta-kill cheese.

Cypria is better as a unit than all the Silver/Gold Rogues. For Plats, Ada has a better skill if you're not trying to pray for RNG Assassinates. Berna basically out-classes Cypria in every way.

Rogues have shit Defense, and pretty low HP; their damage is also absolute trash unless the enemy has 0 or very close to 0 Defense. They also have 0 Magic Resistance.
So they're best against Mages, or for stalling for time on a boss if you don't have Karma (evasion tanking). But at the same, they have 0 Magic Resistance which makes it harder on your Healers than if you just went ahead and used a Valkyrie. Also, they have low HP compared to Bandits, so it's easier for enemies to wreck your Rogues between heals.
