The past few years have been pretty tough for your small, out of the way village. The roads aren't patrolled as much and Paladins are as rare as cockatrice's teeth. You're raided quite regularly by Monster Girl and Human bandits alike, the village has come together and they've decided they need to hire outside help. Even if the cost may be great. Who do you pick?

1. Maus Bandits
A group of Mouse Girl bandits hailing from Maus Hills are a good choice if you're looking to save money.
Though not particularly strong, don't be fooled, each Maus Bandit is a skilled thief and guerilla fighter.
They can't guarantee your village's safety, but they'll try their hardest and are cute enough to raise the morale of the villagers.
You'll be hiring 50 Maus bandits, who operate in groups of 5, rarely alone. They'll scout the countryside to let the village know of any threats, while one or two groups might act as a police force. Keeping the piece.
They will accept payments purely in cheese and one man they like, which they will share with each other. You will need to build a cheesery to make the upkeep.

2. Salamander Mercenary
A scary-looking, confident and brash Salamander swordswoman would frighten Humans of on sight, and be able to go toe-to-toe with most Monsters.
She has honed her sword skills for years and fought in countless wars and battles.
She'll be lazing around in your village for the most part, eating, drinking and fucking any of the village men she likes. But when a fight comes to the village you can rely on her to step up.
This Salamander Mercenary isn't cheap, in addition to the large amounts of gold for her services. She'll be wanting free reign to 'fool around' with any of the men in the village. Though she won't go so far as to take married men, unless she REALLY likes them.

3. Lich Necromancer
This quiet, intelligent woman is looking for a place to continue her 'experiments'. Out of the reach of the law.
She's a necromancer, wielder of forbidden magic and defiler of the peaceful dead. There's no question to her skill, she's been around for many centuries. You'll be very safe.
If you accept her terms, she'll show up one night with her Undead servants, who will then construct a laboratory-castle somewhere on your land. It's needless to say she'll be staying for a while.
What are her terms you might ask? Well first and foremost, she gets access to your graveyard, any dead loved ones can be used in her necromantic experiments. She will also require a lab assistant. She will test the young men in magic and intelligence, then select the best candidate for her apprentice.

4. Oni Sisters
A group of 5 Oni sisters, ranging in different colors: One is red, another is blue, purple, green and black.
Though they vary in personality, they all like three things, drinking, fucking and fighting. You'll want to satisfy their needs if you don't want them causing trouble in your village.
These Oni sisters will want to fight, and if they don't get one for a while, they'll go around your village looking for one. As long as there's some threat to hold their attention, they'll go deal with it and beat the fuck out of them.
In order to keep The Onis happy, you'll need to give them sake on tap. So a sake brewery will be necessary. The Oni sisters will actually be somewhat friendly if drunk, but if sober you'll want to stay out of their way.
As for fucking, much like the Salamander they'll want to fuck who they want, when they want. If you want to stop them from taking husbands away from their wives for a night of brutal love-making, you might need to arrange 'entertainment' for them from the young single men.

All options aside from Maus girls are terrible. Lich Necromancer is okayish, but having your loved ones raised is not something people will enjoy.
There's also the worry that the lich might be wanting more in the future.

The maus bandits are the safest choise by far. Though you'll need additional defences and people in your village to help out to really secure the place. The maus bandits also have the fairest demands. A single man and cheese for their services is a good deal.

The Salamander Mercenary isn't a mercenary but a thug. It's the typical type of scum that offers "protection" and does way more harm than good.
The Oni sisters aren't much better, but atleast they ask the things you expect them to ask. It's still not a very good idea.
