Ehhh, for me the number has vacillated a lot. When I first got into it I didn't see any hate, then a ton of my friends came out of the woodworks to rag on it, and now I've got plenty of them playing the game. Ultimately I like to appeal to what one of my friends said: The Japanese fandom settled this two years ago when ZUN said to stop all the hate going around because he loves the game too. Either way, I know he's done at least a few more since that one in early 2013; last year in August to December I believe he said something along the lines of "There's a nice formula in the game" and that he'd been playing it to get a better grasp of the elements that make it popular. I don't expect him to talk effusively about it, but I've gotten the impression he's actively engaging with the game and would be able to give well-thought out answers to the game over beer.

it is automatic, but it exculde all data older than a month. but i don't know if the application were collecting data when you press the construction button or when construction end, as kancolle-db's clients are collecting when they end, but with KCV's cobstruction result spoiler, you can check what is the construction result, and go to use browsers that are not connected ti database to collect the construction and in this way it would not be logged.
