touhou-project.com is literally a quest site that was created when one of the earliest quests (You Wake Up In Gensokyo) was kicked off of /jp/ by mods. We used to have quests on /a/ and other boards that were specific to the content and materiel of that board, but the mods decided to herd them all into /tg/.

Quests are quite demonstrably not a /tg/ only thing - half of them are anime inspired or flat out ARE set in this or that anime or mango setting. There are at least three quests specifically about idols which is firmly in /jp/s territory.

Yes, it's great for exploring. It has lots of effects and NPCs, and places to go, and secrets, and collectibles like illustrations, and even some different short games (using the game console at your room).
I'm not sure about the size compared to Yume Nikki because I haven't finished 2kki yet. I just like to take it easy exploring and taking screenshots like these.

I helped myself with the game. I searched and found myold cd with rpgm2k on it, isntalled it and loaded the game in the creator. I used it to have a map because infinite scrolling stages are not fun to find the one item in. Friend, you aren't searching for a ghost, you're searching for different effects. Ordinary objects in the world that enable you to use a different power for each. The game ends when you've collected all of them. It's very simple, and wandering around the worlds is a massive part of the gameplay.
