You realize that some people get jobs just by being attractive? No education or experience required. I'm too Australian to live anywhere else really, I've been to a few different countries. We're just finally getting hit by the global recession and the country isn't as rich as it used to be. Government funds are getting cut left and right (particularly in the education sector) and big companies are destroying local businesses. I used to work with kids but it's a shit industry and now I'm qualified for that and nothing else it's hard to find work in a different industry with better conditions.

Hit the nail right on the head. It's hard to believe that guy actually uses that as an argument for his case.
