I always say Utsuho though. That is an easy fucking name.

Touhou fans are just lazy, which means they're not really fans, and you know what we call those people. I want to kill anyone I see saying "Sukuna."

This is a joke even in-universe. Minamitsu is her first name, but as captain everyone calls her Captain Murasa, or ムラサ船長. In becoming a youkai, she was also called Murasa, based on her human name before she died. The music comments also note:
しかしみんなムラサって呼ぶけど、ムラサのは妖怪の名前なので 実は名前で呼ばれていないというオチが。
"Even though everyone calls her Murasa, 'murasa' is the name of a youkai, so surprise, they really aren't calling her by her name."
That is, "Murasa" (村紗) is her family name, but "murasa" (ムラサ) is the actual name of a ship phantom.

In the original game she had shorts. She only starts wearing a skirt in the stuff after that.

People didn't magically stop drawing Reisen with her blazer just because she didn't wear it past IN.

It was supposed to be a fold in her skirt all along, but ZUN isn't very good at drawing, so people thought it's a skirt.

Everything I saw said "Hata no Kokoro" but then I played ULiL and it said "Hatano Kokoro." So is her name actually Kokoro Hatano, like Wataru Hatano? Who is awesome, by the way. Or is there some reason why it's still Hata no Kokoro?

I see no benefit to a writing system that makes you use upwards of thirty strokes for a single character. Kanji is quite possibly one of the worst things to have come out of China, and this is the country that invented.
