So psun for europeans only? In that case I don't think anyone will work on bringing it back. Pretty sure Round 1 doesn't mean jack shit. They'll maybe ban local regions or something.

Konami is a dick and doing anything to "please" them isn't goal to pursue. Instead sows just needs to do things in a way not to get too much shit.

Yeah sure just let me travel almost 800 miles across three states to the nearest R1. Even when there is at least one R1 in each state, it's still going to be out of an acceptable traveling distance for a shitton of people. Even if PA were to get one anytime soon, it would mean jackshit to me since the rumored location is still a two hour drive away from Philly. Until there comes a time where you can't take a piss without some of it trickling on an AC, psun is here to stay.

Also why should we do it out of "respect" for Konami when all they have done for the past couple of years is shit on their fans by systematically eliminating their IPs? I'm fine with n-1 rule since it means the data won't be leaked like a dozen different times corresponding to each update and won't give us too much attention or involve leakers putting their asses on the line numerous times.

Practice harder 10s if you get like 300 misses on 11s. You want denser charts preferably at high bpm.
Fatigue means you're wasting energy. Try to make smaller, but more precise movements.

Consider picking up few BMS songs for better variety. 11s tend to be either too easy or too hard.
If you do get into BMS I highly recommend changing judgerank to normal or hard.

Depending on song's judgerank. There's easy, normal, hard, vhard. Normal is close to AC, but still a bit lenient. Hard is slightly tighter and vhard is silly.
You can change judgerank to whatever for all songs.

If you teach people, some will learn it. >The only way to deal with them is to purge them.
That isn't possible, there will always be people interested and there will always be retards. There's nothing you can do to "scare them away."
There are two options - we can either convert and educate the ones who are willing to learn, or we can let them ALL be retards and drag everything down even faster.

3ds one is project mirai. Looked like a joke and I've never played it. I'm talking about basically anything since 2nd for the PSP, though recent releases have branched out from "jam on one or two buttons really fast" for the hardest songs.

Yeah, if that's the hardest it gets I don't see the point. It's annoying as a frequent rhythm game player when games are clearly targeted at very casual players, since I just can't enjoy boring charts at all. Like, who the hell plays easy on project diva? Why can't I start at extreme? So annoying buying the new game because I have to spend a couple hours just getting the game in working order.

Then I see people online who have full perfects on every easy and it's like... why waste your time?

You can sort by clicking on either one of those buttons just below Level 9 title where you see ver, ver, title, title, etc.
Pink columns show relative difficulty for normal/hard clear. It's somewhat useful. Mostly I'd pay attention to notecount. See what you can more or less clear and practice songs that have slightly higher notecount than what you're comfortable with.
Of course it's all relative. You may be able to clear say song with ~1k notes on 9s, but not 10s, but in general for early levels it's a good way to keep track, because mostly you're limited by your ability to comprehend and hit notes which comes down to notecount.

Play mendes hyper. There you have one very easy clear.
First of all determine where you're stuck. Can you read the notes? Can you hit them? If it comes down to reading just force yourself to read by playing charts you're having hard time with. If it comes down to muscle memory. Well then it may not be automatic and fast enough to push 11s. In that case you need mass practice of anything until there's little effort needed to hit notes.

Ok. So, say you have to pay quite a lot of attention to hit double and triple notes. Now how the hell does it help you to play dense 11s filled with them? Especially if you more or less skip half of them (I'm exaggerating). Play close to your limit until you can relatively comfortably hit those notes and then move on.

His weakness might not be everything. What if he's comprehending charts just fine, but isn't able to hit them? It does fuck all more to push hard 11s and wastes energy. It would be way easier to work on hand control, etc on easier charts he's still struggling with, but can mostly hit.

you're over thinking advancement during a stage in a player's development when it does not pay to over think things

>It does fuck all more to push hard 11s and wastes energy.

if he's stuck on 11s then it does the opposite

he is stuck on 11s and wants to clear harder songs. he needs to grind songs that are hard for him to do. stop over thinking ways to approach the issue because it is not helpful at this point in time

unless he has serious playstyle deficiencies he needs to fix, this is the solution, and it has always been the solution. it's very tiring addressing these kinds of questions because inexperienced players are sometimes resistant to simple advice, and then you have _other_ inexperienced players throwing out overcomplicated advice

please trust that (except for the playstyle thing, if that's an issue) it really is as simple as that right now

Simple advice, yes. So is if I say know your weakness even if you're shit at everything. There are still some things you're worse at then others and those need to be worked on first. Everything said it is common sense and generally you'll know how to improve.
If you call me inexperienced then I call you grumpy guy who worked his way up by struggling so much that he wants everyone else to struggle just as much, because he thinks this is the only way and of course to spread grumpiness.

It's isn't rocket science when it comes to motor skills. You need lots of experience and practice to improve. As I said it does not matter to your brain whether you struggle with over the top 11s skipping half the chart or playing something slightly easier and doing exactly the same thing. Then suddenly what you know you can easily hit the notes! Time to move on.
If you can't read the chart push so hard that your eyes pop out until you can. That's the only way, but might not be relevant to op at this point.

If you believe such simple advice is overcomplicated approach then what can I do? This is common sense seen throughout the whole process at every step. If you still haven't learned that there are many things involved in progression and believe the only solution is to grind harder shit then fine, do whatever.

I didn't get to insane bms by forcing until my ears bleed. I took it one step at a time trying to improve the right things the right time. No need to force, just lots of practice, patience and conserving energy by NOT pushing worthless shit I can't hit.
