Does expedition 36 absolutely require 2 AV's or can I substitute something for them? I only have 1 AV and thats a level 2 Chitose. I have a level 76 Chiyoda but that counts as a CVL.

I am on E-4. The last 3 times I have taken the boss down to 110-130 during Yasen and killed everything else. She isn't dying or going away and the last 3 times her red bar in the upper right has been empty. Do I have to actually kill her? I am just under powered to do it I think. What gives?

Are you counting on CLTs/DD Cut-ins? She's an installation type boss, which means that torpedoes won't work against her. Instead, equip your CAs/BBs with Type 3 Shells/AP Shells.

Hard to say. All of them performed well.
I could highlight Akatsuki, Kuma, Kirishima, Hiei, Haguro, Kaga, Mutsu, Ro, Nagato and Mikuma - last two obtained this event.

Ooi. That fucking cunt made me fail to S rank E6 multiple times because even at full HP she was useless compared to chuuha'd Kitakami who kept trying to damage the boss. Ooi wasn't even able to do 100 damage. She's the main reason why I struggled with E6 final kill, even CV Hime was less of a hassle.
Mogami failed to do more than scratch to Ru Kai multiple times despite having capability to wreck her even without crits. She was also the reason for half of my retreats on first node. I hope she picks it up soon because I like her, she was my prime Ta-killer on 2-5.

E5 definitely. The only map in this joke of an event with any sort of challenge. First node could send you home few times in row if it wanted to. Air phase only node was quite scary, even if it didn't result in much damage. Yasen was fun to tank. Boss fight was very satisfying and exciting. Will they be able to kill Ru Kai ASAP? What about clearing the trash? Will they survive to yasen in good health? And man, the outrageous numbers flying in night battle thanks to Sanshiki. Great music.
E4 was fun to farm. Pretty consistent S ranks during the day, it was great to see Installation type boss fall to AP cut-ins. Also Combined fleet hijinks like Poi sinking Ta flagship with 103 damage hit. Or Kuma dealing ~300 damage with DA. And when the night was necessary at rare times, stuff like Choukai's 340 + 344 double attacks were waiting.
Both new bosses were cute.

Yeah. Clearing maps, doing quests. Your subs don't need all this experience. You can clear carrier quests on 3-3. There are weeklies for World 4. Spice things up a bit. For example I like going to 2-5 from time to time even after getting the medal. Spamming only 4-3 and 3-2A in mind-numbing. If you want to level DDs/CLs, 5-1 also works, 4-3 isn't the only map with subs. 4-1 is pretty easy map for all kinds of ships. 5-4 is good for everything. You can farm Mikumas on 5-2. Many, many options.
