That's because that's how DMM releases it. Any movie bought off DMM/R18 is a DRM WMV file. When you remove the DRM, it's better to just upload the original WMV, then people have the best version that was available and can re-encode off that.

No. Neither will the person who runs maxjav. My assumption is that if the method became well known and widespread, Microsoft would update the DRM making the current method obsolete. Doesn't matter much now, though, because they're going to be discontinuing support for the DRM servers on July 14 meaning you can't play them in Windows Media Player. DMM is ending the support June 30th, so any video after that will only be able to be authenticated using the DMM/R18 player which is Silverlight based.

Current method gets some ID authentication things from the old DRM servers and there's no method available to do it with Silverlight. So I'd PM the guy if you really want it removed. I have nothing negative to say about him and I've used him to strip the DRM for a decent amount of titles so far.
