Yes, Roma also drops on three or four nodes in E6. Boss node and one node per route. Node K is the second node of the middle route and has the highest drop rate (supposedly), but the node before K has E5 boss.

My ships are of similar levels.
What equipment do you use?

A few fixes:
Chiyoda flag (or make your most vulnerable BB flag - in this case, Yamashiro) and move your Reppuu mule CVL to slot #6.
My Chiyoda had Type 62 F/B in biggest slot, Reppuu, 2x Shiden k2. Junyou was 3x Reppuu + Saiun.
Remove Maya and stick in another BB, ideally FBB or Nagato class.
Use Kirishima instead of Haruna (more FP).
AP shells on all BB if you have them.
Stick CLT on slots 2+3.
Use Shiggy or someone with higher luck for CI instead of Whobuki.

Also, AACI isn't necessary, at least I found. I could get through preboss node much better with 2 CVL alone.

Oh, and sparkle your support fleet and stick some high accuracy equips/ships there. Mine was BB, CV, 2CA, 2DD - everyone had radars.

Try to get as close to that as possible. There's still 10 days left in the event, I would recommend getting Sendai and powerleveling her from 1-60 within the next day or two so you can get her night battle stuff (which is incredibly useful later).

Use Kongou then, Haruna unfortunately has weakest FP and replacing her with poi in my support fleet was the best thing I did since Poi scored a 178 DA at yasen (left boss on 21 HP who was finished by #5 ship).

Forgot to mention and seeing your post above mine. Poi can do fine with a DA setup, mine had 2x gun + Star Shell.
And equip CLT with better guns if you have them. My KTKM had 2x 20.3(2) where she overkilled CV Hime and Ooi had 2x OTO. They hit HARD at yasen.
