The order is important : long eye contact from across the room, they keep doing it. Maybe some lip biting or hair flipping if they're trying to be obvious. If they are turning around to do this well I don't think I need to say more.

Then they sit close to your ORIGINAL SPOT, next class and try to talk to you to gauge whether or not 1) you picked up on their signals /interest in them 2) your personality/social skills

Then the ball is in your court to make a move.

Ultimately though you should pick up on unconscious body language (feet pointed toward you, if they look at you first after something interesting has happened, mimicked actions/posture)
