This is true. Rinnosuke has a very unique design that you can't really mistake for anything else. Despite it being a shopkeeper look, he doesn't look generic at all. In fact, he it gives the impression of an MC or a plot relevant character (which he is).

Well he seems to treat Marisa more as an bratty little sister and Reimu is literally a fucking hobo who just raids his cupboard on a whim and only reason he puts up with it is because she's Marisa's best friend and is actually important to Gensokyo.

Shame ZUN doesn't actually delve more into Marisa's family background. I remember Kourin being a very good family friend with the Kirisame family and it was revealed they're actually very heavily linked to the Hieda family.

And I think it was actually confirmed that apparently because he's half youkai he does have some pretty crazy stamina for a bookworm more comparable to a youkai. Even a full youkai is more likely to get ill before he ever does.

You're one of the few people who understands how great it is! I definitely agree, it's a great pairing yet so unused and unpopular. It's a good thing that Amazon and Hidefu still acknowledge it and make works out of the pairing.

Sakuya x Rin just feels more natural than most, for one thing at least she seems to be one of the only 2hu's who doesn't get on Rin's nerves and seems to take interest in his long winded rants.
