The next event is the Return of the Dragon Princess event. Basically, it's a continuation of the last one, so if you got Dorania last event (like me) you'll be able to get a special time fairy that will allow you to unseal her into the Dragon Princess Anya. You also get the Dragon Shaman Echidna as a completion reward like how Aria was for the last one.

For the units you want to farm, there are 2 Dragon units, 1 bronze 1 silver, that will show up which are needed to unseal dorania. Even if you don't have Dorania, the silver dragons skills are Increase Attack III before CC and Increase Attack IV after CC. There are a lot of characters (mainly gold and higher) that eventually get one of those skills (like Kerry and Inc Attack III after CC). Getting that silver dragon is great if you want to increase the skill level of those units.

She's a healer primarily. When her skill activates, she's then able to attack with magic during it's duration. The catch with her is only that she'll only attack while the skill is active so it's better not to rely to much on damage from her.

It can be used as cost reduction, but that's a terrible idea if you don't have Anya.

If you get a time fairy this event, even if you don't have Dorania, you can save it for reprint. Reprint time fairy costs 500 and you'd need to use a lot of crystals to get that many in that short amount of time. Dorania only costs 300.

Started with cc'd Katie and Aria (for points) at far back, up and down spots)

Then Lv99 Prince (between katie and Aria)

Then two cc'd mages, one up, one down

Two cc'd healers next to the mages

When mages came i placed cc'd Kerry infront of one and Sybilla in front of the other (both were within range of one healer each)

Kerry needed help so i placed Chlorys next to the healer to support

Let katie and aria handle the shielded guys near the end, katie and aria needed replacement since i had no healers there, replaced aria with Lv30 Dorania and just removed katie (the prince will finish that one)

for the king i just placed a lv32 non-cc'd HA between my two mages and in range of both cc'd healers and just FF to the end

So far event is a joke, though I must admit that Dahlia is just a bit unfair to dragon mages.

About drops, they seem to be not so bad as in the last event. 4 bronze soldiers, one gold fairy, one demon crystal and one boquet. Seems like getting all rewards won't take more that a week.

Lolis aren't a big portion anyway, the removals and edits for other random reasons kinda override them - i.e. we lacked a male healer for a while here.

Hrm, all that concern over the difficulty of this event and I managed to 3* everything first attempt except The World of Darkness (didn't withdraw a couple units fast enough because I didn't have a 3rd healer) up to The Grand Elder.

Waiting 5 more minutes to get the last stamina I need to try the last mission for the first time.

Why is Thetis considered to be one of the strongest if not the strongest melee unit in the game?

Her stats look ok from the wiki, her active is a strong attack buff and after awakening is immunity to status attacks I believe?

Is the combination of the three that makes her strong?

She's considered one of the strongest overall duelers for those three reasons. Typically the common three are her, Dahlia and Clissa where each of them are a good unit if you happen to be lucky enough to roll them.

Dahlia is considered the strongest anti-mage dueler because of her active which sacrifices defense for a huge damage increase. That doesn't matter against mages since they deal magic damage anyways, therefore she just boosts her damage considerably (when facing mages).

Can't remember off the top of my head what Clissa's perks are. Overall, none of them are game breakers (looking at you Sybilla and Nanaly), but they're definitely awesome units to have and use if you roll them.

Clissa is good early game tank because she can self-heal, and with the Black Perk of having 2 second wait time to first use her skill. She also has very high stats just from being a Black. She's usually considered weaker than Thetis though.

Demon Crystal (x1) are one of the drops starting from Dragonewt 2 and onwards.

Just grinded Ryujin King 2 a couple of times to even out my stamina and charisma, plus I need Valerie to CC my Adele.

Got the gold fairy on my first try going through the missions. Got the bronze Dragon my second attempt. Got the demon crystal my third attempt.

The drop rates don't seem too shabby for this event. I'll see how many tries the last mission takes me to unlock the rainbow fairy.

Same amount of gold, it's the same unit that drops after all. The differences are there are more opportunities for golden armor drops (a total of 6 possible golden armors) and greater possibility for the platinum armor, (15% compared to 5%).

How the hell do you guys manage to level shit up in Valkyrie? I'm sitting at a total of 26 UC+ (yeah I 2S'd them to save space), 41R (unevolved, hoping to 4M) and 16 SR cards in need of levelling and the number keeps fucking growing! I've only managed to lvlmax four cards so far.

I've literally just thrown leagues of them into the exploration teams and let that level them over time. The ones I know I can farm easily from the low level explorations, I don't even bother keeping on hand anymore since I know I can get them back

It's a slow tedious grind, but doing token forest has allowed them to level up in a regular timely manner without bankrupting my gila.

I haven't gotten even a single valk to 4M status yet, the closest ones would be I've got 2 Pham+ at 37 and 17 T_T.

Is it possible to get a Black unit through the free daily summons? Even if the rate is close to zero, I just want to one whether there's a chance or not.

My suggestion? You only need 1386 more damage to kill it. If you have a 2S2M Rebecca, you could replace your 2M Kagura with it and boost your damage by 2428, bringing your total to over 150k.

Fodder farms: send Lv1 Cs (from Quest 1-1/4) to the first expedition for ~1000G (with a Cart+) to make them worth 50% more EXP (when fed to the same element). If you hit it every hour, you can fairly quickly get some valks to Lv 20.

Fodder farms will also give you Lv5 Cs which get you from Lv 20 to 30 at a reasonable pace. Feed Rs from trash boss drops to pump them faster. Once they're at 35+, start feeding them Lv20+ books. Use Lv36 books on anyone you want to push to max quickly.

That's how I level my valks, but them I'm sitting on a team of SR++ to efficiently assist on bosses. When I started out it was spamming Quest 1-1 (with a macro and/or something else to multitask with).

It's quite simple, they're pushing it as a tower defense + porn game, the only thing "special" about it is that combination. When they hold back/don't release characters you're losing content on the tower defense part, and when they censor/remove HCGs you're losing content on the porn part.

The reason people are farming the Silver Dragon isn't because they intend to Min Cost and use him in their team. It's because his skill (Increase Attack III/IV) can be used to skill up a number of characters, e.g. Kerry, Cloris, Adele, etc.

So the reason people are farming him is to try to increase the skill as much as feasible before the event ends because the revival version, the drop rates are pretty bad for the Silver Dragon.

Personally, I'm going for the Completion bonuses alongside the dragons because I can always use more CC/CR fodder.

They can be leveled up. It's just, they're a huge pain in the ass to level up compared to regular skills. Say you have a unit with Range I/II. There's plenty of units that have that skill, so it's really easy to get skill up fodder. But with a unique skill (normally Platinum/Black) you not only have to pray that Goddess is willing to give you a Platinum/Black, but that out of the entire drop table for Platinums/Blacks, you get the exact same unit. So normally you have to level up Unique Skills using Rainbow Fairies instead.

Yes the events repeat later on, however in changed form. In this case, getting the main event unit from a reprint will take an inordinate amount of grind, requiring dumping SCs.

When you combine units, fairies act as a multiplier. A fairy from different color than the unit multiplies x1.5, a fairy from the same color x2.

If you put three normal units + a fairy of the same color, you'll get the experience from the normal units x2, and if you put one normal unit + 3 fairies of the same color, you'll get the experience from the normal unit x8.

They have no use other than that. I mean, you COULD discharge them, but it's kind of a waste, unless they're just iron or bronze fairies which you'll probably not be using.

Much more importantly, they refill your charisma. With x1.2 EXP you can continuously level up (and get lots of fodder to feed your units) in the earlygame with minimum downtime. You're severely under leveled so none of your physical units are going to do any damage to the dragons. You might be able to get by the first 3 with some micro and heavy magic damage, but you're going to have to do a decent amount of grinding to get past the 4th one.

I would spend the next like 8-9 days leveling up and then seeing what your team looks like.

She's easily the most versatile heavy armor. With huge attack and no downsides with naturally high defense and hp. When awakened she has a 20% chance to completely negate an attack. Should you skill awaken her, she gets a ranged attack as well.

The only thing other armors besides Deine do better is boss tanking with active skills.

Yeah, she also has a heavy damage active while her awakening makes up for her the lack of defensive active.

She's currently got the highest single hit damage in the game, standing at 2630. With bandit Lyra coming in second at 2167.

She's got a pretty massive attack speed penalty though so her dps is lower, but she has the survivability of a heavy armor, compared to the bandits 0 defense when using their skill. She also has the highest raw defense, sitting at 816.

She can't be compared to someone like Jelius who can reach an astonishing 1728 defense for boss tanking, but she's fairly useful with the highest raw stats of any heavy armor except for hp, and more "I want this dead immediately" than Dina.

That's one of the harder points to pass, but shouldn't take that much grinding. Next few maps will be a bit easier, up until Armor of the dead and Gatehouse battle, which is followed by Castle retake which is, in my opinion, one of the hardest missions.
The silver mage is fine, he's cheaper so you can deploy him earlier than Cyrus. Levels 10-20 will be nothing soon enough.

Given a full team is usually categorized as 2x Mages, 2x Healers, 2x Soldiers, 2x HAs/Tanks (e.g. 1 HA + 1 Dorania), 2x Witches, 2x Duelers and 2x Archers, it's fine that you leveled Cyrus.

After a day of grinding, I managed to clear Dragonewt 2. Nutaku confirmed on twitter that the first mission doesn't count towards the 4 for Echidna, so I'll unfortunately still have to beat the dragon king stage.

Also, Aigis has blessed me with a princess, so maybe the armor ignore will be able to take care of the big dragons. Seems to be a good day so far.

I hope a week of grinding will be enough for the king stage. Is there some special rule with boss enemies that they have to be killed to win, or can I just let him through and have him take 1 life to clear the stage?

Mages are a huge help agaist the bigger rushes and two powerful ones alone should be able to get most of them. The normal lizards should go down quickly anyway. Get your team to 30 and you should probably be able to pass it at least.

Regretting I didn't level up Kerry when I had the chance and spamming Return to Ruins so she can survive the dragon mages.

Also, surprised at how fucking high Conrad's stats go. Not even level 30 and he's got higher stats than several 50CC20 units. So, at least one of my duelists can survive them, until Kerry fails and they gang up on him.
